This comes out of the box, ready to use. I opened the box expecting some assembly required. I didn't need any tools. I read a few reviews that suggested turning it upside down to make sure everything snaps into place. The pad is super thin and flimsy but I'm not complaining. I had nothing in my apartment so anything would have been more comfortable than the carpet I was sleeping on. My bed has, since, been delivered but I don't have a sofa. So, you can say I have been sleeping on this thing from August through October. I have sat on both ends and in the middle. I have laid with my head and feet alternating ends. I even spent three weeks on this thing recovering from an illness. Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase and would do it again. (I am female;182 lbs; 6'0") ... show more

Got this cot because I needed something to sleep on till I get my own place and don't want to sleep on my friends couch, I'm "5,11" about 375lbs and bent the last cot I bought just by getting off of it, so far this one is pretty sturdy, could be a little wider and a little longer, but it is serving it's purpose. ... show more

Likes: nice colours. Super sturdy. Had someone over 300 lbs sleep on it and held them. Folds up to a decent size for storage. Great length for up to 6 foot people, maybe a bit taller. Dislikes: the one end is designed to permanently be raised, I assume to make it like a built in pillow, but that makes it difficult to sleep any way other than directly on your back. I end up sleeping with my head at the other end which means my feet are elevated but that is still better for me. The cushion is not great (I put a folded blanket under it or a 3” foam on top to add extra padding.) The way the folding legs are setup means you can’t store anything under the cot so that ends up being a waste of space. Designed to hold people of more weight but isn’t really wide enough for anyone over 250 to be really comfortable. ... show more

I had a cot rated for 300 lbs, then two adults sat on it, then a 220 lb dog leaned on it, and it collapsed. THIS one, however, has stood up to all of the above and not even sagged. And it’s more comfortable, and I like that the head is slightly elevated. It is a great cot, and I’ve recommended it to friends already, and when I have to get another one (for my partner or whatever), I’m going to get another of these. ... show more

We bought 2 of these and overall good product. The padding is thinner than it looks online however adding an extra blanket can feel more comfortable. Very sturdy and overall happy with purchase. A nice option when need a temporary bed for company with a small space.

It’s easy to fold and unfold- the cushion that comes with it doesn’t fit in the bag with the cot which makes it a pain . The cushion helps make it somewhat softer but it could use more padding. I would buy this product again.
