Sugar’n Cream has been my “go to” cotton yarn for home / misc projects, for years. Even for a blanket I’m making for myself. Sure.. there’re cotton yarns that are less expensive, but being made in the USA with USA grown cotton is a HUGE plus in my book, but it’s also just a “side” benefit - meaning: if the yarn wasn’t a good quality, it’s manufacture wouldn’t be enough to sway me - happily that’s not the case. We bought this for a Halloween crochet coaster project! It’s a deep purple color and easy to use with hook size 4 and above (we have used it with smaller hook sizes but it’s not as smooth and fast going).
