Love, love, love these! These are truly the best headphones for kids. We only buy LilGadgets now (for our kids, as gifts, as replacements to the ones our kids lose) because we have found them to be the best on the market, hands down. Don't worry, they'll be able to hear just fine because of the noise-cancelling feature that cuts through the external sounds. It feels very legit and well made. - love the feature of sharing the sound with another set of headphones without a splitter. works perfectly! the volume is that same though for both sets connected together - good noise cancellation but will test on flight. I can hear myself talk like I have ear plugs in when I wear this. will be testing on an airplane soon. - soft cushioned band - not flimsy - nice color but not overly tacky looking - cord is detachable so you can pack it safely - you can pause the video with the clicker on the cord - NOT bluetooth which is what I want b/c I don't want any extra radiation around my kid's head - 1 year warranty ... show more

We have had a pair of these for 4 yrs for my oldest child and they still work great and are very well loved. So when my youngest (2 yrs) was going on his first plane trip, I knew I had to order another pair. This brand is fantastic. The kids find them comfortable - even at a young age. They’re sturdy (with supervision for little kids), the volume is great, and I love the little carrying bag they come in. Also the fact that you can plug in multiple headsets to each other is GENIUS. I purchased these headphones for my son who is 4 yrs old. He loved the color and the fact that he could put them on and shut out any noise while he is watching his cartoons. What I love about these headphones is that they don't allow him to turn up the volume so loud that it can damage his ears, therefore I don't have to worry that he is putting the sound too loud. Before giving them over to him I gave them a test run with his tablet and the sound was great, loud enough-but not too loud for him even if he were to raise it high all the way. I purchased two sets of these headphones for my four year old grandson (one for our house and one for his) and we both give them a thumbs up! Below is his review followed by mine... My grandson, he is four, likes that they match his “video pad” (his kid’s Fire tablet). It is super cool that the cord is easy for him to plug in by himself and that the “ear pads” (headphones) are easy for him to hold and put on by himself. He said the bag is awesome and he likes putting his them away and getting them out. As his LaLa, these little things are high on the priority list for a review. I was pleased immediately with the packaging and the quality of the headphones out of the box. The padding on the earphones themselves is impressive and I can tell they are comfortable when he wears them. The volume control is great! Even turned up all the way, they aren’t loud enough to be too loud for a child’s ears. I tried them on to check the volume first thing. I really like that I don’t have to listen to his videos constantly with these but I can be confident that he isn’t blasting his eardrums out either. (And yes, we dolimit his video time.) They seem durable but I do think that if a child were really rough adjusting them, they could snap the metal pieces that are inside them after a while. So I would keep an eye on younger kids with them until you’re sure they understand how to adjust them. I like the added option of attaching two sets together so that two people can watch the same video and share audio. The way that they fold down for storing in the bag is an added bonus too. Electronics are so cumbersome and these are easy to fold up and store, with the cord in the bag. I would definitely suggest these headphones for your littles if you’re wanting to allow them some video time without having to listen yourself and you want the assurance that they aren’t blasting their eardrums. ... show more

The headphones are perfect for my 5 year old in his kindergarten classroom. Only problem was that the auxiliary jack broke within the first month of use. Easy enough to get a new jack off Amazon though. For the price though the auxiliary jack shouldn’t have been an issue. Overall I’m still happy and my son loves them.
