Product is reasonably nice for the price. Especially since we got it on discount. Is sturdy, though doesn’t seem “strong”. Bought for our teenage son. I spent a few minutes thrashing my 200+ pound body on it and I have no concerns about it holding up to regular use. This can be easily put together by one person, though it will take a bit of time and effort. The included tools for assembly are adequate, but actual tools (just a small wrench and hex drive) will help minimize effort required. The instructions (illustrations) are clear and made assembly straightforward. Just pay attention to some parts orientation while assembling. We did not assemble the drawer though as we would not make use of it. Tip for assembly. When assembling the headboard portion in particular, do not tighten bolts until all frame pieces are connected. The alignment of bolts to screw holes is decent, but you may need a little play to get them to line up. Things I would love to see as improvements are a backing board by the charging ports to keep items from being pushed off the shelf, a longer power cord for the plug ins, and a 90 degree plug to keep the cord from being obtrusive. The legs/floor posts are definitely going to break some toes too, but I don’t think there is a lot that can be done without having a more expensively engineered product. The center post in particular is almost right where one might step to get into bed. I’m considering putting a hose insulating product around it for some protection. Overall, very satisfied. My son assembled the bed for me. He said it was pretty easy to assemble. I matched it with a new 12" Hybrid Mattress. It seems to be very sturdy, no noise from the frame. That may be due to the mattress (Coolvie) fitting perfectly on the frame. I put the drawer on the side of the bed instead at the bottom, gave me more room in my bedroom. ... show more

Overall it was easy to put together but one of the screws was stripped so i was not happy about that. The corner protector didn’t stick well and keeps falling off. It’s a great bed, good for the money and the plug is really useful. I got two beds only had issue with one.

    • Split King idea was amazing, very sturdy

This bed design is great especially for our needs and the price. The bed frame is very sturdy and the way it is engineered is perfect to create a split king for 2 adults with different matress preferences. The only thing we had to add to the frame was a matress stopper on the side rails, however they sit right up against each other. $250 plus tax to create a split King bed due to narrow doorways, and hallways and we couldn't beat the quality for the price. They are also very easy to assemble. I am a heavier built man 240lbs , and prefer a firmer matress. She prefers a softer matress so this was perfect for us. The only downside is the underbed storage cage, seems to be more for an engineered visual concept. However, for functionality purposes it works well for an extra pillow, or comforter. With the slats being a firm metal, we would recommend a bunkie board to protect matress investment. ... show more

I purchased this back on July 8, 2025 for a teenager/football player. I absolutely love this bed. The frame is super steady. I will update with the mattress I purchased. I read reviews that this was purchased for younger children and the problem they encountered was the young children were able to slide in the “gap” from the mattress they had purchased. Right there-I knew that was their error. I want to say I had purchased 12” thickness of a mattress. You want to think about the young child can grow with the bed-again I will come back and mention which mattress I had purchased. I highly recommend this bed-very sturdy, assembling was easy-just requires patience. Other than that-yes I would recommend!
