The twin storage beds are very easy to put together. It has steel slats instead of wooden ones. Extremely sturdy and the bed frame gives us the extra space we were wanting! Product is reasonably nice for the price. Especially since we got it on discount. Is sturdy, though doesn’t seem “strong”. Bought for our teenage son. I spent a few minutes thrashing my 200+ pound body on it and I have no concerns about it holding up to regular use. This can be easily put together by one person, though it will take a bit of time and effort. The included tools for assembly are adequate, but actual tools (just a small wrench and hex drive) will help minimize effort required. The instructions (illustrations) are clear and made assembly straightforward. Just pay attention to some parts orientation while assembling. We did not assemble the drawer though as we would not make use of it. Tip for assembly. When assembling the headboard portion in particular, do not tighten bolts until all frame pieces are connected. The alignment of bolts to screw holes is decent, but you may need a little play to get them to line up. Things I would love to see as improvements are a backing board by the charging ports to keep items from being pushed off the shelf, a longer power cord for the plug ins, and a 90 degree plug to keep the cord from being obtrusive. The legs/floor posts are definitely going to break some toes too, but I don’t think there is a lot that can be done without having a more expensively engineered product. The center post in particular is almost right where one might step to get into bed. I’m considering putting a hose insulating product around it for some protection. Overall, very satisfied. This bed design is great especially for our needs and the price. The bed frame is very sturdy and the way it is engineered is perfect to create a split king for 2 adults with different matress preferences. The only thing we had to add to the frame was a matress stopper on the side rails, however they sit right up against each other. $250 plus tax to create a split King bed due to narrow doorways, and hallways and we couldn't beat the quality for the price. They are also very easy to assemble. I am a heavier built man 240lbs , and prefer a firmer matress. She prefers a softer matress so this was perfect for us. The only downside is the underbed storage cage, seems to be more for an engineered visual concept. However, for functionality purposes it works well for an extra pillow, or comforter. With the slats being a firm metal, we would recommend a bunkie board to protect matress investment. ... show more

Nice bed. Not too hard to build. Only one part didn't line up right but it wasn't too big of a deal to fix with a drill. Drawer on bottom doesn't go in a track or anything so it seems to always be crooked when you have a tle floor. Otherwise decent bed.

Easy to put together very clear directions. Solid frame does not wiggle. Only downside was the amount of plastic and styrofoam packing material. The styrafoam that had broken apart inside the box made a mess with all the tiny pieces of stryafoam let loose, floating around then sticking to anything and everything. My son assembled the bed for me. He said it was pretty easy to assemble. I matched it with a new 12" Hybrid Mattress. It seems to be very sturdy, no noise from the frame.     • Make sure you have a drill handy!!!
I put this product together with my husband. It was not easy to fit the bolts into the "predrilled" holes. Some bolts did not fit, I had to buy others to fit. We did try to put it together with the tools that were given. Do yourself a favor, have a drill handy. After we finally got the bed put together, it is cute and functional. The drawer at the foot of the bed is free rolling but that's okay. My 6 year old really likes the bed. The shelf area is narrow but does hold small items my little one loves to keep on it. It does squeak a little when you sit down on the bed. I do wish it came with foot cushion/ floor protectors. It does come with corner protectors but they fall off, as the adhesive is not strong enough to hold them on. It is a light weight bed. It is sturdy enough for a child to sleep on. ... show more
