Very heavy, sturdy frame. Love the headboard shelf. Relatively easy to put together as all parts & screws are letter or number coded. We only made on mistake during assembly . Only dislike is the legs are on the outside of the frame, so the middle legs are good toe stubborn! Solved that issue with black foam pipe wrap which you don't notice.

I just got my first apartment and bought my first bed to go with it! It's a studio apartment and I'm working with a limited budget, so knew I needed to be really careful with my bed frame purchase. This one stood out to me for a number of reasons- 1. The price! Even with the shipping cost, it's a lot cheaper than many frames out there. 2. The headboard has a shelf! In my small space, any extra storage goes a long way. You can't find any storage headboards under $200 ANYWHERE. 3. The height! I love that it is lifted far enough off of the ground to store out-of-season clothes and extra blankets underneath in woven bins. 4. The look! It is so cute and the gorgeous rustic wood with black frame is everything. So beautiful, in fact, that because of this bed frame, all of my furniture purchases following this frame were made to match it and now I have a cohesive space with a style I love. 5. It's Solid! Buying anything online is a gamble, especially when you're talking about furniture. The price made me nervous but it fit my budget so gave it a shot. I am pleased to say that after I built it (by myself!), the structure of the bed was completely stable. There is ZERO wobble and I feel completely safe on the frame. It doesn't move at all! This was my biggest first purchase I made for my apartment and it became the foundation for everything that followed because I'm so happy with it. So glad that I settled on this frame after a month of searching. The ONLY thing I would change...the other option of this frame with the double shelf wasn't available when I made this purchase! LOL! I found it here a couple weeks later and would have chosen that one, but I am still deliriously happy with my purchase. It even arrive about 2 weeks sooner than the estimated time frame! If you like the style of this frame, be assured that you won't be disappointed in this purchase. (Pro tip: During assembly, there's a part- I can't remember which but I want to say it's "B" or "C" and I looked through all the parts and couldn't find it! I panicked, thinking a piece was missing. Don't fret! It's hiding in the bag that has all the base poles!!)

It came earlier than it was supposed to, the quality is great and following instructions was easy because each piece was clearly marked. The screws came on a bubbled card and none was missing. Made of metal, it's lighter than wood, but after a couple of nights sleep it settles down. Thanks for the quality bargain.
