I thought it will make a great "coat" in CA for chilly morning and evening, dog walking, hiking & grocery shopping and the office. Then I have to travel to Portland for even more chilly weather/rainy days 40F~. Much more flexible than a regular coat or light puffer and just as warm with a merino wool top underneath. while I wared it walking in the frosty fall and early season snows, it's not too bulky but definitely warm with layers. And the cut of this jacket is very feminine while not being restrictive. I will say it is an awesome jacket, I like it as a holiday gift for myself.

I love this jacket. I’m very petite, 4’10” and it fits very well. I ordered the medium , but it was too tight. So I exchanged for a L and it’s great. So yes, it runs very small so tale that into consideration when ordering. Also, it comes right below my hip, so depending on your height, it may be too short. I’m loving it! The color is absolutely beautiful!

I’ve had a lifetime issue with coats and the confinement I feel in them. Luckily I live in the South where coats are an occasional need, not an everyday have-to. I was drawn to this Bosideng puffer jacket first for the color, and then for the promise of lightweight warmth. It does not disappoint in either area. Where it falls short – very very short – is in the sizing chart. Normally I wear a medium in clothing, but I always order a large in outer garments to give me a little room for movement and perhaps a sweater or fleece base layer underneath. I viewed the sizing chart to assure myself that I would get the extra room by sizing up. What I got however was a sausage-casing fit on the chest and body area. No way is this sizing chart an accurate representation of fit. I will be able to wear the jacket unzipped, and the shoulder seams rest exactly where they should. It’s the chest and midsection that’s a fail. Too bad because the jacket is otherwise quality and comfortable. I’m not really a fan of the hood (or any hood, for that matter) but on the days I’m walking near the lake side on a windy day, I’m guessing I’ll appreciate the added warmth and protection on my head and neck. Too bad it won’t be comfortable to zip up for needed warmth.

This down jacket is perfect for California winter. It is very lightweight and compact while providing the warmth needed for 50 degree weather. It is filled with real down not polyester. The workmanship is very good. The seams are sewn perfectly with no loose ends. It also comes with a hood which is nice too have on a cold windy day.
