  • Small and sturdy
Style: Black 17.75" Seat Width
I was expecting it to be small, it is. I’m 5’3, the push handle is a bit low for me, but I actually love it since it’s perfect for my tiny mother in law to use as a quick walker if needed. We were looking for quite a long time to find a stroller/wheelchair hybrid to go for paved path walks. The padding is hard, the backrest doesn’t extend far enough and you can feel the bar mid shoulders when I sit in it. We are buying both a back rest and pad for the seat. I’ll update after our vacation flying with it. Overall, the price, compact size, carrying bag, light weight and convenience is well worth it. If the person using it is taller or larger than 5’3 and 180# I’d definitely get a bigger chair. I rode in it for a quick ride on the sidewalk and road to see how the bumps were, it handled the bumps great, but overall is too small for me. We are using it for a little lady 4’10 and 95#. I think it will be great for her, seems durable and just what we were looking for. Update, took it on flights and road trips. Wow. It’s absolutely perfect. We did buy an additional back rest and gel seat pad. We took off the chair pad to find Velcro, added more Velcro to our new seat cushion, works perfectly. The chair doubled many times as a walker, better than we planned. It was great on uneven sidewalks and gravel. We also added a bag on the back using climbing carabiners and a cup holder on the arm rest. The bag broke as we zipped it on the first plane ride, the zipper broke completely on the return flight. We are going to buy a double stroller sized bag for the next flights. The bag is cheap but the wheelchair more than makes up for it. We put so many miles on the chair while on vacation! ... show more

  • Lifesaver
Style: Black 17.75" Seat Width
This was a last-minute purchase for a trip that would have required a lot of walking. This chair saved the day. Everything about this chair is sturdy and well made, with an all-metal clamp to hold it open. It really folds and unfolds as easy as the video makes it look. It securely locks in place when open. The shocks work and it rolls very smooth on pavement. We even took it on some ADA trails (paved and packed dirt was fine but on an uneven boardwalk it was hard to push because of the small front wheels not clearing the ridges.) It's a good size for a slim adult 5'10" tall. It was used for extended periods of time (up to 6 hours) and the person using it stated that the seat was comfortable. Takes up very little space in the car trunk, about the size of a medium suitcase. The handlebar is tall, about 35 inches, which makes it comfortable to push for a taller person. If there is a negative, it is that the brakes are not like bicycle brakes, they don't let you slow down the wheelchair on downhill slopes. They lock as soon as you pull on the bar. Maybe that can be adjusted but I haven't figured out how. Would highly recommend this item if space is limited in your vehicle and/or you cannot load/unload the weight of a full-size wheelchair multiple times per day. ... show more

  • Best option for us...
Style: Black 17.75" Seat Width
I ordered 3 similar chairs and this ended up being the winner. What this chair had that others did not... padded arm rests... I did not think this would be necessary but when you are sitting in the chair, it really helps the comfort factor. This chair was also wider than the other 2 which helped my daughter feel less squeezed into it. The dealbreaker for the other 2 chairs was that the footrest was very high, positioning the knees high, leading to the belly being squished/compressed. But this chair is laid out much more comfortably with the footrest lower and letting the seated person sit more naturally and comfortably. On another note, I like the black metal framing and love the big solid rubber wheels. We plan on using this chair for a variety of terrains and I'm happy that these wheels will be good for that. Taking off one star because the footrest can only be brought down while the chair is in the folded up position. If you unfold the chair and forget to put the footrest down, you have to fold it back up to pull it down. Also I like the break system on this chair, it's automatic (whereas the other chair required you to squeeze the bar and then lock it into position), this chair's brakes lock as soon as you squeeze the bar. Overall this is the best chair for our daughter who is 5 foot 4 and weighs 180 lbs. ... show more

  • Brakes are flimsy
Style: Black 17.75" Seat Width
Brakes broke after 1 month of use. Tried contacting seller through Amazon but did not get Amazon or the seller to respond about the issue. It's a safety hazard to have broken brakes on the chair.

  • Good People Mover!
Style: Black 17.75" Seat Width
The chair is as advertised - a gift to caregivers!!!! So much easier for me (a caregiver & senior too) to move my sister around. Very light weight - easy to get in & out of vehicles and narrow for passage thru isles & door ways. She weighs 165 & is 5’5” - if she was a bigger person, I don’t think this chair would work for us. We are VERY happy with this purchase!! ... show more

  • Poor Brake system.
Style: Black 17.75" Seat Width
Very disapointed with this transport chair. The seat cushion was off when we received it. Some of the screws were lost , but probably would have been stripped to put back in. Most of all the handle brake does not catch both sides, making it hard to get into safely. Hard to release brake also, if you can get it set. My Dad is under 200 pounds, but doesn't fit him well. All in all I am very disappointed and I did my research on several different chairs. ... show more

  • Handle bar
Style: Black 17.75" Seat Width
The chair was very sturdy and seems well built , moves well, break well and easy to fold.. etc..and would be a great chair for a kid or an adult under 4 feet, and would receive a 5 star rating for that. However, the handle bar is way to low for the person pushing the chair .. it is so low that the person riding in the chair will have to sit upright and lean forward to avoid the pushers hand being squeezed and unable to access the breaks…. This is a tragic design flaw that could have been remediated by a longer handle of about another foot and/ or tilted back about 30 degrees. Sadly I had to return it .. unfortunately this is a reality of production design for perhaps a smaller Far East body type not a western body type that tends to be larger. Also the short handles make it difficult to lean the chair back to get over thresholds ... show more
