We purchased the 18” chair, and it is fantastic. There was an issue with one of the brakes, but the seller got back to us quickly after contacting them and completely resolved the issue to our satisfaction. Fantastic customer service from Medorol! The chair is so much lighter than most on the market, folds super easy and rolls like a dream without much effort. For reference, we purchased this for our adult special needs daughter who is 5’3” and weighs 159 lbs. It’s perfect for her size, and the seat is comfortable and has enough room. I would say the 18” can accommodate someone a bit bigger and taller than her since it’s 2” larger than the other one they sell. Her dad who is 6’ tall and 200 lbs. sat in it with no problems, and the chair was still easy to roll. The chair has brakes that you pull up and hold for temporary braking, or if you need to keep the chair stable, you pull the brakes downwards until they snap to lock the chair in place when an individual is sitting or standing. It feels well made and has an adjustable seat belt for safety. It also has a small pouch on one side for a phone or small item and a bigger pouch on the back to store bigger things. The handles are adjustable to different heights so taller individuals who are pushing the chair don’t have to lean down and put strain on their backs. The wheels roll smoothly on most surfaces. We used it on the street, sidewalks, rocky areas, and indoors on carpet and tile floors and had no issues. Of course, very rough terrains may be a bit different, but we haven’t tried since we wanted this chair for errands, doctor’s appointments and short travel distances. It folds in basically one step and has a retracting handle like a suitcase that you can extend to just pull the chair along and not have to carry it when not in use. The foot rest is sturdy and comfortable as you don’t have two separate ones. It folds up to get it out of the way to sit or get up from the chair. You do need to pull it forward about an inch before completely opening the chair so it doesn’t get stuck when the chair snaps open into place. The arm rests fold back up as well so a person may also get in and out from the sides. I did add a cup holder pouch that has straps that velcro to each side on the handles, which was easy to do. I’m also able to hang a backpack with essentials on the frame with no issues. This chair is stable, compact, well made and maneuvers great! It also fit in the trunk of my smaller vehicle just fine. Definitely recommend it!

I wanted a lightweight chair that is manoeuvrable and easy to lift into the trunk, and the “luggage cart” style to transport it on public transit to the person I’m picking up at the hospital, so this fit the bill. It is a nice chair but it came with a missing rivet to hold the handle bar assembly together. I sent an email to the seller and it took 7 Amazon agents to get a return label from Canada to the U.S.; however, the seller did respond and offered a refund rather than returning it because of the cost of shipping it to and from Canada due to U.S. tariffs. I had suggested that the 18” chair be made available on Amazon Canada, given the 16” is available because it made it expensive having to buy from Amazon U.S. I was very pleased that the seller listened and it is going to stock the 18" version on Amazon.ca within 30 to 40 days. I could not wait for the chair to be on Amazon Canada's store, so I ordered a second one, this time with the adjustable back and it's exactly what I was looking for and it was not defective. It took much longer than expected, but that is Amazon U.S.'s fault in delaying the shipment. I've increased the rating despite the defect because the seller has been awesome, it's been responsive and it has listened with personalised responses which is rare these days. The second chair that arrived is great. I highly recommend this seller. On a side note, the listing indicates it comes with a storage bag, which is misleading. I figured out it meant the little pouch hanging off of the seat for a cell phone.

The seat is good with a firm support. Brake works well and the easy to maneuver around. The back can also angle at around 90 degree or more to relax. This brand is well made and sturdy. I would recommend.

The wheelchair tipped over after I was coming down the ramp from a wheelchair van. The driver parked on an uneven surface and didn’t hold me well enough and my one leg was going outwards so the wheelchair tipped over. Luckily it happened as he was letting me out for an appointment at a hospital. So there was an emergency room right there. The wheelchair is simply too light. Do not buy.

Seems to work really well. Used it for a while relative that typically uses custom wheelchair— got this for quick trips and poolside. The only downside is most components are plastic so I don’t know how long it will last but hopefully it holds up. Brakes are easy to use and like the extended handles for pushing. Folds easily

Seems excellent overall. We needed narrow, with arms that swing away. Those features are fine. To lock the brakes requires too much brute strength. Not all attendants are supermen. Update: this is her third wheelchair. We appreciate the narrow width. Because of her limitations, the ability to raise arms, and the shortness off the arms makes getting in and out much easier. Highly recommend.
