I needed a lighter weight chair for my 93 yo mother in law when we travel. Love the weight of this chair, the larger rear wheels, the seat belt and the ease of set up however there are several cons. The chair is an adequate size for my mother in law who is 5’1”, 125 lbs and would be great for a child but would probably not be comfortable for an average size adult. The latches that lock to keep the chair from folding are difficult to snap into place, there is not any latch to keep the chair in a folded position and the arms are a narrow round bar. I added Sherpa covers for comfort. Overall I am very happy with this chair. We even used it to get my mother in law down to the beach so she could walk in the sand. ... show more

220lbs max but very easy to push, if your using this for a rounder person the chair is going to squeeze them a little. Also you will stoop to push this chair if your 5”6 or taller. It’s very smooth it takes the bumps easy it is very easy to kick the front end up with the convenient foot bar. You will encounter cracks and obstacles that you can not avoid a dump over or close call to so use the foot bar all the time to get through rough area like streetcar tracks …. Super light… very strong but I don’t think it will last with maximum weight capacity on this unit all the time. ... show more

I took my mother on vacation with us. We bought this wheel chair and the vacation went smoothly. You can gate check the wheel chair. The wheel chair folds down and fits in the trunk. We couldn’t have done the trip with out it. My mother is 5ft and 115 lbs and the wheel chair was easy to maneuver. I highly recommend it. We went places she could never go. ... show more

This wheelchair has made my life so much easier… it is so easy to slide the person from their elevated recliner chair right onto this chair. I can just lift up the arm and slide him right over and it’s so small and it just glides through the house easily it fits into my small bathroom ….it’s very easy to get him in and out of the car with this… I would recommend this to anyone that needs a good transport chair! ... show more

My husband ordered this for his parents he wanted something portable and lightweight that his elderly father easily handle to push my mother-in-law in. It's rather low and small, so it wouldn't be ideal for anyone over 5'5" or overweight probably shouldn't get this. The booklet is all in Chinese, you don't realt need it, but it's not helpful if you don't read Chinese. ... show more

I have tried a couple of these for my mom. And although this one is easier to fold, handle and roll, the leg rest is too high and keeps knees on an uncomfortable incline, not good for people with knee problems. The chair should feel like a normal sitting position. It does no because of the leg rest. I wish I could return it but it is already used. The cheaper version of transport chairs have a more comfortable sitting position. Also, not easy to roll as picture shows. ... show more

It would've been nice if the book came in English so people who don't know any other languages the could read it. Make sure you look the chair before you push anyone in it that way when you go to get them out the chair doesn't start to fold on you

The flip-up foot rest is definately for shorter individuals -- bought for my 5'2" mom and her knees were about 6" above the edge of the seat. Also, the attachment knobs for the hand brakes jabbed into her upper back (above the seat rest) when she was just sitting in the seat. Lastly, the seat is super hard for a bony little old lady. On the good side, it is VERY maneuverable and easy to steer, folds up well. ... show more
