  • Convenient and Comfortable Lightweight Transport Wheelchair
Color: A: White
This Lightweight Transport Wheelchair from Hybodies is a perfect blend of functionality, portability, and comfort. Designed with extra-wide armrests and 10" honeycomb big wheels, it offers smooth maneuverability and stability. The standout feature is its luggage-style folding design with a telescopic handle, making it incredibly easy to transport and store. Despite its lightweight frame, it’s sturdy and supports the user comfortably during transit. I purchased this wheelchair for assisting both family members and an elderly neighbor who I assist in getting to doctor appointments, and it has exceeded my expectations. The honeycomb wheels glide effortlessly over various terrains including grass, gravel, and of course the obvious ones like asphalt and cement or concrete. The extra-wide armrests provide added comfort during longer trips. The folding mechanism is intuitive, and the telescopic handle is a genius addition—storing and carrying it is as easy as handling a suitcase. It folds up and stores easily in a closet, the corner, by a door, or even in the trunk of your car. Pros: Lightweight and Portable: Easy to fold and transport like luggage. Comfortable Design: Extra-wide armrests provide superior support. Smooth Maneuverability: 10" honeycomb wheels handle uneven surfaces well. User-Friendly: Simple to fold and unfold. Sturdy Build: Despite its lightweight, it feels robust and secure. Cons: No Built-In Storage: Lacks compartments for small items like bags or water bottles. Not Self-Propelled: Best for attendant use, not independent mobility. Overall, this Lightweight Transport Wheelchair is ideal for anyone looking for a portable, easy-to-maneuver wheelchair with premium features. It’s perfect for travel, medical visits, or day-to-day use, and its luggage-style design is a true game-changer. It is a great addition for caregivers and loved ones needing a reliable transport solution. ... show more

  • Works Well
Color: A: White
I was over the moon excited about the Hybodies Lightweight Transport Wheelchair, but it was short lived excitement. Certain disabilities restrict mobility and need different requirements. The transport chair is well designed and crafted, however it does have issues, the biggest problem I encountered was the lack of information in manual. We did figure it out, fortunately my husband is a mechanic, I made notes for others to assemble, see photos. It lacks information regarding folding and unfolding. Also, there’s a black plate next to wheel that resembles a foot break, but it doesn’t do anything and the manual didn’t provide that information. I have Hemiplegic migraines & spinal stenosis, so I wanted something to use if I had an attack, something easy for me to transport , and something I could push like a walker when I wasn’t using due to my balance issues. You can’t do that with this chair, it flips up without weight in seat. The seat tilts backwards and I can’t lean back, I need to be straight up. The bar that goes across the front seat pushes up behind your thighs and was very painful and uncomfortable. My legs are too large and too short to fit comfortably on the foot rest, which I really liked. I couldn’t walk the chair along because the front wheels kept hitting into the heals of my feet, plus I was tilted backwards so far I barely could touch the floor. It was even difficult to walk the chair backwards to get around. This chair is perfect for caretakers maneuvering patients, but I couldn’t use it by myself. It tilts backwards so far you can’t get any traction or weight on your feet to manage it yourself. Due to my issues, i need something for caretakers, so it will be suitable for them, but I’m disappointed I won’t be able to use it for myself daily. I’m in between using a chair occasionally vs permanently and this looked like it could have fit my needs perfectly and it would have if I was able to set in it correctly & comfortably. The chair is lightweight, designed well using quality materials and fantastic for caretakers to transport patients. ... show more

  • pretty nice
Color: A: White
This is actually better than expected. The wheels more really smoothly and it wasn't bad to put together. They have extra tools in case anything needs tightened later on, but it's not needed. It also folds up well so it's about the size of luggage, maybe medium size luggage. It even has a telescopic handle just like luggage. The cup holder doesn't fit great, but that's not important. The transport chair feels pretty comfortable and I like that the cushions can be switched easily. I will say it's a bit narrow so while the weight limit says 330lb, I wouldn't recommend having someone too wide sit in this chair. Since it folds up pretty well, the chair was much easier to get into my car than a wheelchair was. ... show more

  • Will do its job.
Color: A: White
I have fluctuating mobility and while I haven't yet needed a wheelchair, the day will come and we wanted something to stick in storage for when that time comes. It was easy to put together, although I wish I had found the directions first. They were hidden wrapped in a velcroed seat. I just had to install 2 wheels. One of the brakes was bent (removed a star) but I was able to straighten that. My fiancee is about 250lb and fit inside of the arms. I'm just over the top weight and it felt sturdy enough for me, but I couldn't use the arms or the seatbelt (did not remove any stars for that as I am over the listed weight). It's uncomfortable for both of us. All of the poles dig in. If your foot is too far back on the foot rest, the wheel will catch it, and there's nothing to stop feet from sliding backwards. My fiancee, well within the posted weight, looked like a giant. The size and discomfort lost another star. This is probably usable for the occasional short trip (car into doctors office, for example), and it would work on an airplane I believe. But I couldn't imagine using this as a regular chair. ... show more
