I’m really happy with this cabinet and love using it as a kitchen display cabinet. The light oak color looks exactly like the pictures and matches my furniture very well. The instruction manual was clear and easy to follow. We had two people working on it and finished the installation in about an hour. I was a little worried about the packaging, especially the glass panels, but everything was very well packed and nothing arrived broken. A small detail I really appreciated is that they included one extra screw for each type of small hardware, just in case something gets lost during assembly. One pleasant surprise was the mirrored back panel, it’s a great design touch and really makes the items inside look more elegant by reflecting them. The built-in light looks nice, but it would be even better if there were an optional light at the lower level so both levels are equally visible. Overall, this is a good-quality product, looks great in my space, and I’m very satisfied with the purchase. Highly recommend it! ... show more

The instructions are clear, I built the entire thing myself in 2 hours, but I’m sure some parts would be easier with help. It’s beautiful, works well and my dog is obsessed with walking by it to turn the lights on haha. I have mine filled to the brim but that entails all my favorite books, multiple stuffed animals and other little trinkets that I thought would be cute, and in the bottom just some valuables. I was able to fit my record player in it, but I need to have the door open to play anything which is kind of sad but definitely not a big deal. The storage capacity is quite a bit. I’ve also moved the shelf a couple times trying to figure out where to put it permanently, and thankfully nothing felt loose at all, very sturdy. I really love that the glass shelves are suction cupped down. I have mine in a cute little corner, but I do have two German Shepards who are still basically puppies and I’ve been happy to see no scratches or blemishes on the shelf yet. I’ve had it for about a month or two before writing this, and I’d say I’m very happy with it and planning on getting another for Christmas. ... show more

We got 2 of these for our son as a Christmas present. He is displaying his Legos in them. I was very impressed with the quality and ease of assembly. The first one took about 2 hours to put together, but the second identical only took about 1 hour and 15 minutes. The only reason that I did not give 5 stars was that we had one glass shelf with a significant scratch and the outer covering scratches easy. For the price, this is an excellent value. The overall quality is disappointing. The pieces start cracking even as you assemble them, and the shelves don’t fit well at all — you really have to get creative just to make them slide in, and even then they’re not stable. It does look nice once it’s put together, but only if you avoid placing anything heavy or valuable on it. Treat it as decorative, because if it breaks, you won’t be surprised. ... show more

I got this cabinet as a gift for my husband. He loves it! After spending much time in Belgium over the last 10+ years, we've become very into beer, my husband especially so. We travel a lot and he's carefully brought back beer glasses from all over the world (Belgium, Lithuania, South Africa, New Zealand...) and those glasses have stayed wrapped in bubble wrap in a closet and unused because he had nowhere to put them. Now they're in a hall where the display lights up each time we pass and he can grab one when he wants it. The motion-activated lighted cabinet makes me smile every time I pass. The cabinet is solidly made and impressively nice, especially at this price. My son helped me assemble it and I would say two people are very helpful if not absolutely necessary. ... show more

It did take a few hours to assemble, it arrived in good condition. I didn’t want to spend a lot for a display cabinet & this does the job.
