The media could not be loaded. If you can't already tell, I have a skin-picking disorder and hyperpigmentation. I need to cover up the open sores and scars on my arms and legs as my law school graduation ceremony is approaching. This product has good coverage but is not an exact color match. You’ll have to purchase a setting powder and blot it over this makeup to remedy that. Pro tip: spray setting spray over the area you’re covering for all-day hold and no transfer. Also, the application is much better with a body brush rather than your fingers.

I was hesitant to spend $40 for foundation. But when I received the tube, it was huge, like the size of a tube of toothpaste. I was looking to replace my old smart cover foundation that had dried up. I will say this works pretty well. The color was a bit more orange than I had hoped for, so I will try another color. The consistency was thinner than I prefer. I have some large freckle clusters on my face that are dark, and this makeup faded them but did not cover them completely. I could still see them through the makeup. If the consistency were thicker, it would be easier to cover dark spots. I used multiple layers, and I could still see them. The large tube would be good for leg coverage, but I have doubts that this would completely cover a dark tattoo. I'm going to keep using this in combination with the concealer and see if that works better. It's fairly waterproof and requires more than water to remove, so that is good. I would not purchase this again, as I need something thicker with more coverage.

This is not a bad but I would not waste the money on it thinking it will cover everything. This can cover a tattoo with 3 or 4 layers of the Dermablend by itself.What I like to do is use the L'Oreal infallible full wear concealer FIRST then throw some of my Airspun powder on top and THEN put the Dermablend on top and then set it with powder and setting spray that will cover it OR if you don't wanna spend the money on this.. use the L.A. Colors Ultimate Cover Concealer set it with the Airspun powder and then put Milani Conceal + Perfect Concealer on top and put Airspun powder and Setting Spray will also cover it and you don't have to apply as much with this.I think the Dermablend needs to be more full coverage. Feels like it was just too hyped up.

I usually use this during beach events and it really does full coverage especially on dark marks on legs and arms. It may be cake-y at times so you need a good sponge or brush to evenly spread it on your body. It is water resistant too. It only goes off when washed with soap.

Well, I read a ton of reviews for this product before purchasing it, and the comments ranged from love it to hate it. But here is my story - first, I am 58, and while I had great looking legs in my early years, I developed a skin condition (I can't spell it and won't even try) which has left my legs spotted and blotchy. I am also fair skinned, and still get a spray tan in the summer to give me some color. However, that only makes the spots on my legs darker and more noticeable. It's really ugly and I hate it, so I avoid shorts. But in the hot 100 degree Southern heat, those are hard to avoid. SO I figured I should at least try this product. I did not have high hopes. Long story short - yes, this is a make-up coverage, it does not claim to be a sun tan product. If you apply it lightly, as it recommends, it has definitely helped the appearance of my legs to the point I have started wearing dresses and shorts, which is wonderful! It does not cover all my spots, but I did not expect it to, as I have so many and they are prominent. But it covers the spots enough that I am comfortable showing my legs. Yes, the make up will and can come off if you don't allow it to dry, which can take a couple of hours. And yes, it will come off on your clothes to some degree, just like normal make up will do - but no big deal, it washes off. But it's not a big problem. Small price to pay for being able to wear shorts again. I find the make up lasts a good two days for me, even with a shower or two. I don't scrub my legs in the shower, so it stays on. But after that, it will wear off, just like make up. I do recommend this product, and hope anyone interested will at least try it. It has really made me happy that I can show my legs again.

I am exploring ways to cover my tattoos for my future wedding because I found even with sleeves, many are lace, and my tattoos are still visible. So far this appears to be a good option. Luckily, I have identical tattoos on each arm, so I have an ideal scenario for you to see the differences between make-up and no make-up! 1. Buildable The first layer I put on was still somewhat transparent, but by the 3rd layer I was good to go. The container is a good size so I'm not worried I'll run out as I build, but I'm only looking to use the product for two events. 2. Skin match I bought the 2nd shade up from fair and it is still very pale (or perhaps I'm more tan that I thought). If I proceed with this option, I'll buy a powder close to my skin shade to try to match. However, it's not egregious, it would probably work as is under a lace sleeve 3. Comparable options I've attached a photo of the makeup next to the cover-up sleeves. The sleeve is also the incorrect shade for my arm, but I don't have a way of correcting the issue, giving the sleeve the disadvantage here. Also, surprisingly, the sleeve is more transparent than the makeup. 4. Smearing/wearability It's been 10 minutes and the makeup still feels a bit sticky, and has left a mark on my pants. I will update this review if it stains. I did put some powder on the product, but may not have been generous enough. I suggest picking up a translucent powder as well. Perhaps setting spray and primer too.
