Description

About 170 meters of filament — enough for 5-8 medium-sized models or a full plate of miniatures. Perfect for trying new colors without committing to a 1kg spool. Standard 1.75mm diameter fits most FDM 3D printers. Spool inner diameter ~55mm, AMS-compatible on all models we've tested. Every spool ships vacuum-sealed with desiccant. If stored properly it stays dry. If exposed — a filament dryer at 45-50°C for 4-6 hours resolves it.

  • A bit more per gram, bright color, smaller spool and amount, otherwise ok
Color: Warm Yellow
This Tiayoh Warm Yellow PLA has been straightforward to use in my Bambu Lab P1S. I have been printing it with the normal PLA profile and have not needed to make any special adjustments. Extrusion has been consistent, layer quality looks good, and I have not run into clogging, feeding problems, or excessive stringing. The biggest drawback is still the value compared with standard 1 kilogram rolls. This is only a 500 gram spool, so even though it is enough for several smaller projects, you are getting half the amount of filament. The spool is also physically smaller than a typical full-size roll. It works fine in my setup, but that is something to keep in mind if your printer, dryer, or filament storage system is designed around standard-size spools. The warm yellow color is probably the main reason to choose this particular filament. It is a softer golden yellow rather than a harsh neon shade, and the finish comes out smooth and consistent. I can see it working especially well for decorative models, props, figures, or anything where you want a brighter and more cheerful appearance. The filament is 1.75 mm with a listed ±0.02 mm tolerance, and the consistency has been good in my prints so far. From a usability standpoint, it behaves like regular PLA, which makes it easy for a beginner or anyone who does not want to spend time dialing in unusual settings. My AMS2 has lots of tubing between the AMS2 and printer, and I had no issues with it feeding through the extra amount of tubing. At roughly the same price range as some full 1 kilogram generic PLA rolls, the cost per gram is higher, so I would not choose this for large functional prints where color is not important. For smaller projects where the warm yellow look is specifically what you want, though, the print quality and ease of use make the higher price easier to justify. ... show more

  • Tiayoh Bright Green PLA
Color: Bright Green
I recently tried the Tiayoh Bright Green PLA 3D Printer Filament, and I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. As a beginner in 3D printing, I was looking for something that would be easy to work with, and this filament certainly met my expectations. The vibrant green color is just fantastic; it really adds a fun and lively touch to my projects. I appreciate the tangle-free and clog-free features, which made my printing experience much smoother. I didn't encounter any issues with jams or tangles, which can be frustrating when you're just starting out. The vacuum-sealed packaging is a nice touch, as it kept the filament fresh and ready to use. Printing with this filament was straightforward, and the 1.75mm diameter fits perfectly with my FDM printer. I've used it for a variety of things, from models to outdoor planters, and it holds up well. The final prints look great, and I love how there’s no unpleasant odor—something I was worried about before I started printing. Overall, I would recommend the Tiayoh Bright Green PLA filament to anyone from beginners to experienced users. It produces quality prints, is easy to work with, and the vibrant color really makes my creations pop. I’m excited to keep exploring more prints with this filament! ... show more

  • Good Quality, Well Made, Works Great!
Color: Bright Green
Good filament, nice color, really a vibrant bright green as advertised. Very low odor, though most PLA is, you can smell it if you are used to it and know what to smell for, but i will say this stuff has a far lower odor then other PLA's i have used so they definitely can claim that. Printed smooth and cleanly with some stock profiles on my Qidi printers, i also tried some modified profiles of my own and had zero issues with it. Overall it prints good with out of the box PLA settings and i had zero issues with it. Its a little high on the price for a 500g spool, you can get 1kg spools for this price, but it does seem to be a bit higher quality wise. It looks like this brand specializes in selling smaller 500g spools, i don't see any 1kg spools in their brand name, so thats interesting. They do make a good product though, its certainly up there with other more expensive PLA brands that i have used, i just wish they had larger spools, sometimes a 500g spool just isn't enough for a project! Overall though, seems like a good quality product and not a bad value for the money if you don't need larger spools. ... show more

  • A little stringy but no problems and a beautiful bubble gum pink!
Color: Light Pink
I'm still a 3D printer newbie exploring the capabilities of my Anykubic Kobra X and couldn't resist this pretty bubble gum colored Light Pink PLA filament. Since I'm still building a small palette of colors and textures to make little nifty things with I can't speak to overall value per gram, but I didn't have any major issues with using this Tiayoh one. It did make a lot of stringy things throughout each print, and some missed spots in some layers as I was watching it. But in the end the finished prints are fine and as strong as expected. I had to snip off some strings and file some bits that I haven't had to do with other filaments I've tried, and there were no other errors or jams or anything of that sort. I'll keep using it as it fits my needs for now and is super pretty! ... show more

  • Not a great value overall
Color: Light Purple
First the good: This filament prints well, when dry, and I like the color. No tangling noted. I used a BambuLabs X1C printer, slightly tweaked the Generic PLA settings (lower max nozzle temp by 10c), and calibrated Flow Dynamics and Flow Rate. This filament is a fail on every other level: - The 500g size is useful to test out a color, but a pain to use on large prints where you need more than that. No larger size is available. It is also a pain in the AMS, and in dryers, and most people will pretty much need to print an adapter. - The price per gram is 2.6c at the (discounted) price of $13 for the spool. A much more well-known brand sells 1kg spools, with exact hex color codes and downloadable filament profiles, for 2.0c/g. - Despite claims that drying is not necessary, I found it to string even with proper settings. A session in the dryer fixed that. - No real data provided on the filament, aside from bed and nozzle temp. I'd save a couple of cents per gram, the aggravation of dealing with small spools, and building your own print profile, and go with a larger vendor that offers more support for your printer/slicer and larger sizes of filament. ... show more

  • Pretty Purple Color!
Color: Light Purple
I needed a light purple filament for project for my niece. Decided to try this and I'm happy I did. The spool comes in a vacuum sealed plastic bag with some desiccant in the middle. This is a 500g spool so it's much smaller than a standard spool. The spool is cardboard so I had to print some rings to go around the spool so it would not get cardboard dust in my AMS. I created a print profile based on the settings on the sticker and printed a test block. Printing was a non-issue and very easy. My test prints with the textured plate and smooth plate did not show any adhesion issues and the bottom was smooth with the smooth plate (no ripples when printing first layer). The light purple is a perfect intermediary between standard purple and lilac or lavender. All in all, I should get some great use from this filament. ... show more

  • Good light pink PLA
Color: Light Pink
The light pink color of this filament is really nice. It's a soft, pastel shade that looks good for decorative prints and small models. The color comes out consistent across layers, which is what you want to see in a good filament, making the final piece look even. It handles well on the printer, just like standard PLA. Used it with typical settings for PLA for my P2S, and it ran smoothly for several hours. Had no issues with stringing or clogging during prints, which is always a relief. The extrusion was consistent, and it laid down layers without any problems, making for clean lines and good detail on the finished objects. The filament diameter measures consistently at 1.75mm. This tight tolerance helps with reliable feeding into the hot end and getting good layer bonding, minimizing any print failures. Finished prints come out smooth and have a solid feel to them. It worked without any fuss on a common FDM printer, showing good compatibility. Just be aware this is not a full standard 1kg spool. ... show more

  • Prints great, but the price is hard to justify Description:
Color: Light Pink
This is actually the first 500 gram roll I have gotten in the last couple years of printing. I have had plenty of 1kg rolls and a bunch of 250 gram rolls, but never one of these. Honestly, it is kind of cute. I may even save the cardboard spool when I am done with it. As far as the filament goes, I really do not have any complaints. I dried it before printing, so that may have helped, but it printed great. No stringing, no trouble sticking to the bed, and no weird issues along the way. The downside is the price. For an off-brand that I had never used before, it is pretty expensive for only 500 grams. If you bought two rolls to make a full kilo, you would be spending quite a bit more than I would want to. It prints good, but I would probably stick with a more familiar brand unless the price came down. If it did, I would buy more of it. ... show more
