It is recommended that two people put it together, but I did it by myself. Two people are needed to lift the box. I didn't lift the box; I took the pieces out a little at a time from the delivery point and placed them in the room where I assembled them. Step by step directions were clear, easy to understand with plenty of illustrations. Kudos to the writer(s) of the directions. The assembly of the headboard is first and takes some time - do not be discouraged. I took a break after the headboard was done and did the rest the next day. My six years old son loves the frame, headboard, lights, etc. Assembly may go a little faster with two people but there are some steps where two people would get in the way of each other. This was for a Queen size.

Good value, and the storage feature works great. The overall build quality and fit and finish aren't amazing, but also aren't bad. It was pretty easy to assemble, but there are definitely a lot of sloppy design tolerances involved and (as the instructions state) you will need to wait until the end to tighten everything up to make everything fit properly. The instructions are wrong when they illustrate where the mount the hydraulic mechanism, but it wasn't too hard to work out the right holes to use. The included LED strip is one of those annoying cheap ones that cycles through all the color options and an obnoxious strobe mode. You can hold down the button to turn it off and it will turn back on to the same mode you left it on, but if you mess up once and press the button you have to go back to the remote to get the setting you want. I tried the recommended app to customize this, but it couldn't change the button behavior and couldn't even set colors correctly. The USB ports work fine, but they aren't modern fast charging ones. Not a big deal for charging overnight, though. The shelf on top is nice for protecting phones and glasses from roaming cats, and supports my bigger cat's 15+ pounds just fine for when he wants to look out the window behind the bed. The storage feature is the key feature of this bed, and it works great. They did a good job of maximizing the available space. I recently moved to a one-bedroom apartment and it's the perfect "attic" for things I don't need to access that often.

I purchased this Lift Up King Size Bed Frame last month, and it has exceeded all my expectations. The dark grey upholstery adds a touch of modern elegance to my guest room, seamlessly blending with my existing decor. The assembly process was straightforward, thanks to the clear instructions provided. It took us approximately 90 minutes to set it up. Since all of the parts are packed into one packing box, it is supper heavey to lift up to my guesteoom in the upstails——recommend more than two people to carry it.

Definitely a two person job to build but awesome once done! I had to google how to get the lift down after we put the hydraulic pieces on. It said apply even weight so the easiest thing for us to do was put the mattress on and let the weight push it down hope that helps someone who has the same problem we did

The bed itself is very sturdy, even with a bought bit set and electric power tools it took a while to assemble this king size bed. It came with A LOT of pieces! I only gave one star because the shocks were both locked up and would not work at all. I contacted customer service and they don’t ship parts for it. So I have a bed that’s too heavy to lift and I can’t use the bottom storage at all. Lights work great, just wish I could utilize the bottom storage.

Made me nervous..Reviews were mixed.. received with all parts, shocks work great once installed just make sure to have two people so you can gradually lower on the first use by holding frame by shocks and firmly push down in place (YouTube). Assembly is not too bad and it actually is a good buy for the money and shipping with prime is a win! The storage is phenomenal, Quality and look are better than most and my 5 foot tiny wife loves it and has no problems with lifting and getting things in and out from under the bed. Holds firm and safe. It is new so if this changes over time I will update this review however it is made well if assembled correctly and believe it will hold up.
