  • Pretty nice shed
Received it sooner than expected. Two boxes sealed and wrapped on a large/long pallet. Packaging looked great. Better quality than expected. Comes with very thick instruction book. Instructions for most part are detailed and need to be followed in ordered. Some parts get built in the beginning of the instructions and if missed, it only shows the finished pieces to put on. Skylight top pieces were easier to put on as each individual top piece was put on. Left screws very loose to line everything up correctly. There are qr codes to scan and it says it is to videos of how to build individual sections. Didn't try the links. Very sturdy. Everything lines up perfectly. Thought at first it didn't come with a shelf, but it was hidden on box under another box that got tossed back. Took about 8 hours for one person to build by themselves. ... show more

  • True to Description
Pros: This shed is 8x10 and very true to size. The shed is sturdy with one window for light. We are able to use containers to store our belongings and keep things neat. This is a great shed and well worth the money. Cons: I will purchase a hanging battery-powered light to offer a bit more light when it is overcast and cloudy. The shelf was not sturdy enough to be useful. I just removed it and used the verticle wall space. Unless you will put this together yourself, this item is expensive to put together whilst using a handyman. I paid almost as much for installation as the item itself. If I were to do this over, I would just install myself. ... show more

  • Not too difficult to assemble. I mostly did it by myself.
Not too difficult to assemble. I mostly did it by myself. I am making some modifications to make it a little sturdier. Held up, without any modifications, to the 60 mph wind gusts that we had just before Christmas. So far, it seems weatherproof, it stayed dry inside after the rain. My biggest complaint about this shed is the delivery service. It was delivered by NSD. They were a week later than my scheduled delivery, I could not get a hold of the carrier, they never answered their phone, responded to emails or voicemails. Then, they reschedule the delivery without contacting me and delivered it while I was out of town. Fortunately, I was able to get a neighbor to sign for the delivery and direct them where to put it. I had planned on buying a 2nd shed once I finished paying for this one, but I will not buy from this seller if they continue to use NSD to ship. It is a shame that a delivery service can ruin my impression of what seems to be a quality product and will cost them a repeat customer. ... show more

  • Great Shed
This shed showed up incredibly fast and exactly as described. I put it together by myself and it took me a solid day and a half, although I didn't rush it and took my sweet time. If I had someone help me, it would have gone much quicker (and with fewer curse words as I searched for parts). As for the assembly, it was pretty straightforward and I had used two assets: one was the printed assembly instructions that came in one of the boxes and the other were the Lifetime Shed YouTube videos, the latter of which was a little off with the locking assembly as mine had a different locking mechanism than that featured in the video. I would say there were two difficult aspects to assembling this shed: the most difficult was identifying the parts in the bags at the very start of the assembly process -- the bags didn't always clearly indicate which parts were which, but upon some extra effort I was able to discern where everything went. The second most difficult aspect was assembling the corner walls to the floor -- it took an incredible amount of force to get them to snap into the floor assembly. If you watch the videos, the guy uses all of his weight to get them to snap into place and of course it only takes him one try. I weigh roughly 200lbs and it took many attempts to get the corners to snap into place using all of my weight. All in all, I would highly recommend the seller and this product. I am incredibly happy with the way it turned out and it houses my motorcycle exactly as I had anticipated. On a side note: I live in Oregon where rain is a consideration, so I constructed a level base that lifts the shed off the ground and used ramps to get my motorcycle into and out of the shed. I was rather meticulous in leveling the base so as to get the doors to properly align. Keep that in mind as you assemble this product -- ensuring the base is level is a key factor in getting the doors to align properly for opening and closing the shed. ... show more

  • Be prepared to put in some work if you do it alone & questionable quality parts
The floor was a pain in the butt to get to lock into each other so I left it out for a day to flatten out,big mistake,it bowed in a spot and made it harder, finally got it together and left it out that day while I did the other preassembly steps and the next day it had even more of a bow in a different section. Getting the rods and bars into the doors, was a pain in the butt, and I had to take a knife and trim out sections of the plastic just to get it to start to fit then beat the crap out of it with a rubber mallet. The little cups that the rods go in on the floor to hold the door in place or too small and I had to take them out and beat the rods in and then take a hammer and knock them back off, trim out the shavings and repeat a few times, I had to drill a new hole in one of the rods because once it was in the plastic cup, I could not get it to spend enough to match the holes up. Once I got the doors on, there is more of a gap along this size than what I wanted to have and bugs would get in so I am going to have to go get weatherstripping. If you don’t care about anything getting wet or spiders, etc., this would be a decent shed but not worth they’re $1500 price tag I feel, especially with all of these issues. It came into huge boxes and shipping company said total weight was over 500 pounds, they would not take it out behind my house so I had them drop each box in the garage and then I had to take each piece out individually and carry them around back because I did not want to pay an extra $50 for them to drop it out back, I mentioned this just to give you a warning about making sure you have a spot to put the boxes before install..Took another star off because the black screws that screw the floor together got wet from rain on the first day. I was trying to put it together and when I came out about a day later, half of the screws were already resting, this is an outside shed so they should not have used screws that were rust, especially after only like two days so that makes me wonder about all of the metal supports they have in there if they will rest also and has me guessing the quality of the shed and all of this pieces ... show more

  • Constuction
The shipping company CEVA was horrible. It took many phone calls to get it delivered from SF where it sat for 2 weeks as they tried to find someone to deliver it to northern CA. Setting it up took 4 people 4-5 hours 😣 6 months later - It’s a nice shed except there is no steel reenforcement on the edge of the wall panels next to the doors . So when the doors are closed, the panels bows leaving a half inch gap for rodents to get in. I had to buy steel wool batting to stuff along the door frames and the doors when they are closed. Little bit of a pain. Luckily this shed is for storage so is not opened a lot. Other then the door frames the rest of the shed is nice and seems sturdy enough ... show more

  • Pretty good
Delivery for me was a breeze. It arrived 6 days early and in perfect shape. No damage to the pallet or boxes or anything. Assembly is what it is. If you are not mechanically inclined you will probably struggle but nothing is really that difficult. I had no missing parts. One of the side panels looked like it came off of a different mold because it had no grain pattern like all of the others. It was only the inside and its a shed so who cares. I built this in the Texas heat which hurts and helps the assembly. Its molded plastic so it gets a little soft in the heat which is good because the molding isn't the most accurate. It also makes the home stretch of getting the final roof panels on pretty difficult. It also makes snapping in the bottom of the walls difficult because the flooring just flexes instead of allowing the plastic to snap together. A flathead screwdriver prying it open helps here, just don't overdo it. Also there was some significant flashing that you might want to remove because it does prevent some parts from connecting. It also smells bad. Like animal pee. Pretty bad actually so plan to air it out for a while. All in all its a decent shed. Overpriced but everything is nowdays. I have the 8x8 version of this as well that I bought years ago and it is still holding up fine. I assume this one will as well. ... show more

  • Comes in 2 Boxes
The unit is great and very sturdy. Setup was long and needed tools not included. But the video was very helpful and walked us through the instructions step by step. Be aware that the item ships in 2 separate boxes, the roof and floor in one box and the wall panels and brackets in a second box. The final product was sturdy and water proof. A great price for a lifetime product. ... show more
