Firstly: great quality thru and thru, better than any storage shed we’ve ever assembled. Secondly: the install is challenging - if you don’t have a weekend or two and a lot of patience we recommend paying someone to put this beauty together. Shipping arrived on time and in excellent condition. This company is US made and packaged and they did a stand up job in the crating and shipping. After a few hours of un-crating and laying out and identifying the numerous parts and pieces (some of the metal pieces are not labeled well and bags of hardware are not easily identifiable) my wife and I began the arduous task of assembly. We used a battery operated screwdriver with long shank, a 4’ ladder, a 6’ ladder, a large rubber mallet and a hefty helping of patience (of which I lost mine a couple times). The instructions suggest using three adults to assemble - probably a good idea although a third person would be just standing around most of the time. If you take this on do yourself the favor and read and re-read each step of the instructions and pay close attention to the “Tip!” Associated with each step of the assembly instructions otherwise you’ll be constantly taking two steps forward and one step back! This project reminded us of building LEGO sets with our kids where every step of the process is imperative to the success of later steps. The completed shed is adorable and quality second to none. This Lifetime 10' x 8' shed is exactly what we needed. It holds way more than expected and feels very solid once it’s fully assembled. Assembly did take some time and patience (definitely easier with two people), but the instructions were clear and the end result was worth it. This is such an awesome looking shed. Constructing it was pretty straight forward. It appears to be sturdy and perfect for my lawn care storage needs. The kitchen missing a part, but the company was very responsive in sending it out once notified.

Happy with the shed now that it’s built. Note that there is zero tolerance for error and the machining is not perfect (at least ours wasn’t) so unless you get incredibly lucky and have everything perfectly machined, the 1/4” off here and there adds up to the point where some panels have to be sculpted by a box knife to fit or you end up with panels not laying perfectly - like on the roof of our shed. Does it look nice - yes. And it seems waterproof in spite of the roof panels not laying perfectly flat (we only get rain and it’s stood up to rain with no problems so far). Would I do this again if I needed another shed? No chance! ... show more

    • Great product hard to put together.
We actually hired somebody else to put it together for us but he said he never wanted to see the instructions again and to burn them. That being said, it is super cute and it does a great job. It is nice and roomy.

    • Good, but “Structural Steel” comment is a joke
Works well and is very spacious. However, I dislike the borderline false advertising of “structural steel”… what they are referring to is some metal L-metal that screws vertically onto the wall panels. It doesn’t create floor to ceiling posts or connect the wall panels together, it gives very minimal support to keep the walls from bowing. Needed a few people to put this together, surely isn’t for the faint of heart. It was a full day assembly. Doors close and lock perfectly, but I’m not sure I could say this is worth the money. I got it because the “structural steel” made it seem sturdier than the other options at this size, but it is probably on par with any other shed this size. ... show more
