  • Not for the USA
Region code B

  • BEWARE... Region B/2, not for 'norm' player
I brought this knowing that it probably is Region b/2. And it was! It didn't say in specs for discs region. But the picture are spot on on how blu ray case look like, the discs has beautiful pictures on them. CON: This will not play on US blu ray player that doesn't has setting for regions or made to be play from any regions. Also If you want to only able to watch it on TV then you probably will have to buy multi, region B player, etc. PRO: if you do have PC disc external player that can change setting of regions. Then you are good to go! I do have one. And I always keep that it on Region B/2 setting, just in case. No matter what region blu ray anime are on, they always have subtitles which are a big bonus thumb ups for me! Extra info: I just finished watching first episode before commenting. The picture are beautiful, lot sharper and clearer than what I see on Netflix/Hulu/Crunchyroll/etc. in my opinion. So I am very glad I finally got first season! I am looking forward to get other seasons. This is one of my fave RPG which I never get tired of re-reading or re-watching. ... show more

  • Playback Region B/2 Review
Purchased this knowing that it is B2. Quality is better than online streaming, but the audio is 2 channel BD LPCM. The subtitles are english only, and the only option is on or off. Modern titles have at least 5.1 audio, with 2 subtitle tracks, 1 which is foreign language, 1, which is always on. So this seems like a sub-standard distribution. Aniplex has made the NA release prohibitively expensive, it had better be a better distribution, but I have no idea. ... show more

I've only watched the first 3 discs, but so far it's pretty good. The beginning was really slow and I almost turned it off, but toward the end of the first disc it started to get better. By now it is much better, and I'm glad I got it, but it's still quite pricey.

  • Great!
The case is very well made and solid, Each Disc also has a cool textured engraving of some of the characters on them as well. Also a bonus is it came earlier then excepted too.

  • Can only be played in uk and outside of USA don’t work in USA
I had the blue ray dvd for couple months now and I thought was really cool and nice having it on blue ray but the one thing that disappointed me is that it can’t play on my ps3 and ps4 and can’t play in the USA so I can’t watch it unless I have my PlayStation on uk and different Country’s except for USA so if you plan on getting it just know it can only work outside of USA ... show more

The case was in tact when it arrived. Thankfully it was authentic. Really loved season one of SOA.
