Melanie is absolutely beautiful! Right out of the box, she exceeded my expectations for a mass-produced reborn. She is on the larger side at 22 inches, which I personally love and fits most newborn and even some 0-3 month clothing comfortably. She is full body vinyl allowing her to wear a wider variety of outfits as you do not have to worry about hiding a cloth body. Her vinyl isn’t quite as soft as the other 2 Cloveray dolls I have, but it still has a bit of squish to it. The outfit and her little piggy-themed blanket are so adorable and incredibly well made. The fabric quality is fantastic — soft, durable, and thoughtfully sewn. She has an adorable flower headband. One of my favorite touches is the ribbon trim with a holographic cloud design — it’s subtle but adds such a sweet, modern sparkle that I haven’t seen on other dolls! Her paintwork is very well done, with soft blue undertones, subtle mottling, natural-looking veins, and realistic blushing — even on the back of her neck, which, as a collector, I really appreciate. That area is so often missed on dolls, so seeing that extra detail truly impressed me! Her hair is a gorgeous golden strawberry-blonde shade with soft curls. Mine arrived a bit frizzy from packaging, but a fine mist of water and a gentle combing brought the curls right back to life and softened the frizz beautifully. The rooting is remarkable! It is so fine it’s the closest I’ve seen to micro-rooting on a mass-produced doll. The holes are very small, with just tiny little clusters of hair, creating an incredibly realistic baby-hair look. Her scalp stays mostly hidden naturally thanks to how her hair lays — I only lifted the hair slightly in my photo to show the rooting detail. In normal display or holding, you almost never see the scalp. Overall, Melanie is a high-quality, beautifully crafted doll with thoughtful design from paint to dress to accessories. I am thrilled to have her in my nursery. Highly recommend her to both collectors and reborn lovers looking for something special!

This doll is worth the money. Her limbs are softer. Her core is a little harder, as it should be. She’s anatomically correct. She comes with a diaper you put on yourself. She also comes with a pacifier, pacifier holder and a birth certificate all neatly packaged. This doll came very neatly packaged and protected and was perfect right out of the box. Her coloring is beautiful. Her legs and arms all move and she can hold your finger perfectly with her right hand! Great doll for any age!

A beautiful doll for pictures and for play. Vinyl arms and legs and body. She is nice to hold but not weighted or squishy or anything like a real baby or reborn doll. I wet and gently brush to style the hair. I buy newborn clothing, hats and socks for her for outfit changes. Still so beautiful and worth the price. Much better than traditional box store baby dolls.

This doll is truly a work of art. I bought it for my daughter, who loves dolls and had been wishing for a sleeping baby doll, but honestly… I’m the one who fell in love with it 😄 The details are absolutely stunning. The skin tone is incredibly realistic with beautiful shading and subtle veins, making her look like a real baby. The curly hair is soft and natural looking, and you can tell this doll was made with real care, love, and artistic talent. The outfit and blanket are extremely soft and high quality far beyond what I expected. I’ve purchased many dolls before, and this one is truly rare. Huge appreciation to the artist who painted and created this doll with such incredible attention to detail, and to the seller as well. I truly hope to purchase more dolls made by the same artist. This baby is a keeper! She is adorable; moveable, soft vinyl, fluffy hair, rosy cheeks, and realistic features. The looseness of her outfit makes it easier for a 4-5 year old to work with. (Though be advised, she is not in a dress, but more like a romper; and also I believe she is closer to 20".) My granddaughter opened the box and was simply mesmerized. It clearly was love at first sight! I'd purchased other "reborns" before this one and sent them back. I am quite happy with every aspect of this baby (including the way they boxed her; she lays in the box, like in a bed) and would definitely would buy a Cloveray doll again.

Very cute doll she's exactly as described,just so people are aware she does have the female anatomy. The only thing that I thought would be better is if the blanket was a little bit bigger so I could wrap her better,her feet hang out when I try to swaddle her like in a receiving blanket,but it's not that big of an issue.Also as a mother of 3 kids I really feel like she's closer to a 3 month old baby size or a bigger newborn.
