I live on a gulf coast estuary where the sun is bright and hot and the mosquitos are ever present. These are my mosquito pants and I wear them every day when I work in the yard. Purple is invisible to mosquitos and I spray my pants with insect repellent designed for material after every wash. They work well to both protect my legs from sun exposure and insect bites. They are lightweight so they don't add to the humid heat. The pockets hold my phone, work gloves, and kleenex. They are comfortable and look good. Price was good. The only negative is that I would have liked them to be at least 3 inches longer so that they didn't expose my ankles when sitting. Addendum: My bad. They come in long. I bet the sellers rolled their eyes at my original review.

This is a really nice pair of hiking/jogging pants. It is lightweight, soft and very comfortable. It has a drawstring at the top to snug it up if you need to, and has elastic at the bottom to prevent bugs from going up. There are 5 large pockets on this so you can bring everything you need with you. I go out into the woods to help with bird banding with the parks department, and this is a good pair of pants to be out there with. A light color is essential to see ticks, and they are cool enough to wear in hot weather. Good price too. I would buy more of these.

These are a thinner fabric if that’s what you’re looking for. They wrinkle and are a bit scratchy. The pockets with the zipper closers are nice. They seem a bit expensive. I wear a small and it fit well, and we’re a bit baggy as I desired. I suppose if you wanted a tighter fit, you could order a smaller size. I ordered khaki and gray, and the colors were as advertised

for reference, I am 510 and some around 200 lb.... I am 7 months postpartum, so I haven't got on the scale for a while 😜. I bought these at my usual (postpartum) size and they were a little tight in the thighs, so I returned and bought a size up. There's absolutely no difference in the pants. I'd have to go another size up and hope that they actually made the thighs just a little bit bigger. It's definitely not for the big thigh girlys. I was really hoping these would work because I like the material and the length. Overall a nice pair of pants if they were a little bigger around the thighs. Some people like them to be fitted but I like just slightly loose. They didn't work for me, but I'm sure that'd be great for a different body type.
