I bought this over a year ago, and it’s perfect I use it everyday while working from home. I’ve added my own crystals to it, it’s perfect not loud, love hearing the water as I work, and no one has said anything about it while I’m on wfh calls, so suffice to say it’s passed that test. I wanted something small and cute to put on my desk. I have it on 9-10 hours of the day daily now for over a year now, it is pretty well done. Love the color and the size. This fountain is a bit smaller than I'd initially thought it would be, however it is a very unique piece and I'm very happy with my purchase. It does resemble the natural stone look which makes it appealing. I did find that it must be filled completely with water up to the top as the pump requires that due to the way it sits, but it was not an issue. You just need to make sure you keep the water level up for it to properly function. I turned up the pump so it has a heavier flow of water circulating. The pump and sound of water is quiet, there is relatively no noise and not much of a water sound but enough that this piece still attracts attention as a conversation piece due to the design of it. The pump is small, I don't know how long it will last but the bowl underneath is large enough that I have another small fountain pump I believe will work if I must replace at some point. Set up was as simple as attaching the pump and filling it with water. You should be aware that there is no off switch on the cord and it has no lighting as some other fountains do. I believe those would have been attractive features to have incorporated for this fountain but I still am enjoying it anyway. It does not have an annoying water trickling sound which is nice, everyone has commented on liking the design and is surprised it is not made of stone as it appears like a heavy piece. I feel it's adequate to the price I paid and the functionality of it has been fine for a small desk sized indoor fountain. I use it in my office and I think it's a nice feature for that purpose as it doesn't leak water or splash out. ... show more

You get what you pay for, but its a cute buy! The fountain and pump itself can be disassembled for cleaning pretty easily. It can also be a bit noisy due to the pump. It vibrates against the fountain base/the underneath of the top part, since it’s not completely smooth. I found that putting a small sponge underneath the pump helps. Also covering any areas where the pump will tap against solid surfaces with hot glue/fabric. It’s just a matter of cushioning around the pump and then you have a great little accent piece :) ... show more

I was looking for a little decorative fountain to give a very small indoor "greenhouse" some decoration. It is small....so just make sure you look at the dimensions before you buy. Also i can confirm with other reviewers that it does NOT make any "splashing"/water noise..... so if that's why your buying a fountain then this is not for you. Personally i think its more relaxing to watch the water, I really like the way it flows off the hand. The base is a bit plain, i would suggest putting some stones around. There was a slight vibrations, so i guess you might have to watch what you put it on?.... as of now the motor/pump is super quiet ... show more

This fountain is very hard to (deep) clean, which is required frequently otherwise it gets clogged with mildew and won't work. After about the second time deep cleaning it the walls of the ring shaped part were so thin that they broke and now if I were to turn it on, water would come out the sides. Totally unusable. Definitely do not recommend because upkeep is near impossible. Waste of money. ... show more
