Easy to set up, looks great, quality materials & sound is phenomenal. I was very skeptical after reading some of the negative reviews but I've never went wrong with LG. Those who complained about this bar, maybe their not using the correct settings or something. I use the HDMI arc connection as that provides the best sound over any other connection & allows you to use your current remote to control it. Bought this as a gift & after testing it I couldn't part with it, I had to purchase a second one, that's how impressed I was. I have it paired to an LG TV & a Sony TV & both sound great & about the same. For just a sound bar this is a huge upgrade over stock flat screen TV speakers that either point straight down or backwards as its speakers are pointing outward (obviously). I just took it out of the box, plugged it in, changed the sound source to bluetooth and it worked. I have an LG TV but I don't think it matters. It has a great depth of sound and clarity, which is exactly what I was looking for. I set it up on the other side of the room from my TV near me because I just can't hear that great any more. The sound went out on my 10 year old (appx) LG flatscreen tv and I tried everything to get the sound back but it was 'dead in the water'. Figured I'd try one more thing, an external sound bar and picked this one, despite the negative reviews and it did the trick. I now enjoy great sound and get to keep the LG tv that I really like a lot. I don't use the remote so I didn't rate it. This tv is in my bedroom and the sound bar quality is equal to the sound quality from the internal speakers perfect for my bedroom viewing needs...:-)) ... show more

The picture I included is the soundboard under a 65" tv. It does come with its own wall mount, figured that out after I put the shelf up. I hooked mine up via hdmi cause it seemed to work better and sound better. Music is LOUD, I thought the volume was lacking at first for movies but the first two movies I picked were older and had a low volume. Movies like action movies or just newer were more than loud enough for our 250ish square foot room. Max volume isn't often used unless we use it to play music while we're down the hall in the kitchen some 30 feet away. ... show more

I didn’t install for a few months after purchasing do I couldn’t return it. It is defective. Installed properly and it goes in and out and cones on blasting loud and you cannot turn it down only off. Biggest disappointment from LG ever. I’ve had nothing but LG TV’s for years. This was a brand new TV 55”. I had a Bose system Prior and decided to lose all the extra parts and just go with a sound bar. Big mistake. It’s turned off and I can’t use it so it just sits in place by my TV. Total waste ... show more

I was tired of cranking the volume for youtube and Prime up to 50 just to barely hear. I've never had a sound bar and wasnt sure I could install it by myself. However, installation was so easy it was embarrassing. Its just like any other speaker or headset you would pair with your phone, only I paired it to my LG TV. Now I can hear. YAY!! ... show more
