The LG S95TR 9.1.5 soundbar system could not be better! I have an LG C5 83” TV and was looking for a compatible sound bar. I wasn’t sure I made the right decision until I played music from my Pandora list. WOW!!! The TV mode went off automatically as the music began playing. Everything was easy to set up, just plugged in the A/C cord and Bluetooth took over from there with no added speaker wiring. I think the system has 810 watts so power and clear sound quality and volume is not an issue. I also looked at Bose, Sonos, and Samsung soundbars but it seemed matching an LG TV to a LG soundbar made the most sense and it is definitely compatible. I also considered the LG H7 but adding speakers to create surround sound could get pricey and after listening to this system I really don’t know how it could sound any better!!! ... show more

If you have a LG ILED evo tv this soundbar connects and works perfectly with it. It can usually be found on sale for a good price. The full user manual must be downloaded from internet and can be hard to understand. Some might need a tec savvy friend to help get the best sound out of this unit.

If you're a company that's going to make the bold choice to have everything about your soundbar be configured via an app, you'd better make sure that your app is AMAZING. And that your hardware connects with a variety of WiFi routers. Unfortunately, LG did neither. ☹️ I set this up easily, and everything worked great at the basic level. Solid wireless connection to the subwoofer (which neither Samsung nor Sony can seem to get right), and the rear channels worked great. The overall was good, but not great. But I can't tune the sound or adjust anything without the app, so I was never able to get it to sound great. And unfortunatley, I couldn't set up the soundbar using the app. It always failed at step two of adding the device, which seems to be when the soundbar tries to communicate with the wireless access point. I called LG support seven times (three of those were the system hanging up on me mid-wait), and their tech support wasn't helpful. There seems to be no log files or data that they can look at to see exactly what's going on. It just fails (that error code in the screenshot wasn't indicative of the actual issue), and they could offer no advice on how to get it working. I tried both the Android and iOS apps; I rebooted, reintalled, and re-initiated everything multiple times. Nothing helped. Honestly, it's shocking to me that LG would prefer me to return this product and leave a negative review rather than build things into their system to help with troubleshooting WiFi issues. This soundbar system could have been great, but it's a 1-star product because LG made the entire system reliant upon the app working, and their app/wifi connection piece just doesn't work well. ... show more

Outstanding sound system to go with a high-end LG TV. Only (minor) drawback is trying to get a lot of bass--should be easy with a big subwoofer but it takes some effort as the soundbar is trying to be "too" smart!

Wow! I had read lots of good reviews about this soundbar set, but hearing it in person I can say they were not exagerrating! Our home feels like a true movie theater experience now. Plus, I LOVE that the speakers are wireless. So much easier to have a "clean" set up. One thing I will say is that the rear speakers were bigger than I expected them to be (but that's on me for not reading the measurements) - but the size helps them deliver amazing sound. ... show more

I knew I needed a soundbar when I tried out my new tv and could hardly understand the dialogue being spoken. After some research, I settled on the LG S95TR soundbar when it was on sale. So far, I am very pleased with the sound quality. Set up was fairly straightforward except for a small hiccup getting the subwoofer and speakers to pair with the soundbar. After a hard system reset, I got the speakers to pair, so the setup ended well. The kit comes very well packaged from LG and the seller delivered quickly. I give the S95TR five stars. ... show more
