Install is simple. Just follow the order it tells you to plug things in and the Bluetooth connection is automatic. The sound is ridiculously clear and balanced to perfection. The AI technology in the remote is cool ass well. For under $200 this is a steal.

    • Great sound quality, but BIG BIG issue with 5GHz band wifi interfernce

The BIG problem with this sound bar is the interference with my 5GHz wifi band. It absolutely debilitates the wifi signal as the sound bar uses the same frequency as the 5GHz band. For me, it completely masked my 5GHz signal, so it didn't even show up as an option when trying to connect with my devices. I moved the netgear nighthawk x6 r8000 router further away from the sound bar, and it was still interfering. I was able to connect to my 5GHz band, but internet was very laggy, and when I ran the internet speed test, I was getting 85MB/s. When I unplugged the sound bar and ran the speed test, i was getting 500+MB/s. I was hoping it was just the wireless subwoofer that was causing the issue, but I unplugged the subwoofer and only ran the sound bar, and I still had interference. In conclusion, the sound bar interferes with the 5GHz band on your wifi. 2.4GHz is fine and works okay. Excluding the wifi issue, the sound quality is amazing, and the value for the money is great. Installation was a bit tricky as it was being installed to a Samsung TV, so I had to use the optical cable. The TV was not picking up the sound bar via HDMI. ... show more

I used to have a Sonos, and it was great, no complaints. But they are expensive to replace so I chose to go with the same brand speaker as my tv, LG. The sub and sound combo have exceeded my expectations! The quality of the sound is deep and rich and when I watched the Super Bowl halftime show, I cranked it. I had no audio loss or crackling. The best part is that I can control it with my LG remote (I have a 65” LG smart tv I bought in 2024 and it has the type of remote you can point at the screen for a curser if that helps you). Anyways, I recommend. Value for money, it’s good and even comes with the bracket to install it and it’s light enough to install into drywall just fine ... show more

Great sounding soundbar and subwoofer. The only downside is you have to download app to get full sound & bass. Will not receive full sound capacity without downloading LG app. After that, very happy with the sound.

EXTREMELY QUIET even at full volume. I feel like any speaker can have good clarity if it doesn’t go loud. This is disappointingly quiet. Save your money and buy something else. This is a terrible choice for a soundbar unless you have a tiny room and plan on no outside noise whatsoever. Somebody talking in the same room is enough to drown out this soundbar even at full volume. Definitely had higher expectations being LG brand, but this is terrible. ... show more

I bought this when it went on sale and I am not disappointed. It puts out great sound and has good bass with the sub. The setup was simple and it works with my TV staying on until the TV turns off and has an auto-off feature. Adds more sound and enhances the watching experience for sure.

    • Pretty good soundbar except for one thing...

Bought a new QLED Vizio TV for my office that has amazing picture but trash speakers for the audio, so decided to buy a soundbar to mount on the wall under the TV. I have an older LG soundbar in my bedroom which I love and thought I would get a newer LG soundbar 2.1 model for the office. Sound quality is kinda meh. The older 5 year old LG soundbar in my bedroom sounds slightly better and was cheaper at the time but this new one is just in my office so not that big of a deal. What I really did not like though was the bass from the subwoofer, out of the box sounds weak. Barely any bass at all and the remote control has NO treble/bass or subwoofer gain buttons or options. I was only able to find these options after installing the LG soundbar app. Once I cranked up the subwoofer gain and Bass setting, now the soundbar sounds like I expected. But why did I HAVE to install an app to reach these settings ? What if I did not have a smartphone ? What if I was getting this for my elderly parents that would not know how to use or even install the smart app. The fact that the FULL features of the soundbar are hidden behind an external phone app is crazy to me. And the 5 year older LG soundbar actually has the treble, bass and gain buttons on its remote and again, the older soundbar was CHEAPER so there is no excuse for not having the same for the newer more expensive soundbar. ... show more

Relatively easy to set up. the sound is phenomenally good. We have a very loud household with dogs, appliances, and kids. I can’t believe we went so long without it. Already had an LG TV so it was a no brainer. The remote is really necessary since the TV remotes supersede it in importance and they are basically redundant. The volume control is slow and all it shows on the screen is + or -, not levels. The levels on the sound bar appear as three lights which change color as the volume increases. Just not as intuitive as I would have hoped. Price and sound make up for this. ... show more
