Did not work when I plugged it in…. Took two weeks before a tech would even call to set up a time to come look at it….. I appreciate Amazon taking the product back and giving me a refund…. Disappointed….. have an L G that is 13 yrs old , very happy with that product…

Have had the TV a little over a week. After much research and debate, I opted to go with the 83 inch B4 over the 77 inch C4 or the 65 inch G4. (Size is superior after all!) My TV room has black out curtains and we keep it very dark. So I figured we would get greater benefit from size over brightness and turns out, I was right. Lots of folks (elitists basically) will tell you on reddit to not bother with anything less than a C series, and if you can, you really want the G series. But honestly, if you keep this set in a fairly light controlled environment, you should be happy with this set, especially if you are coming from a base old school set like I did. Have had the wife and kids even say it's too bright when things like flash bangs or lightning scenes come to life. To me, it came down to a cost per brightness. Yeah, it would be nice to have those punches of 1000 nits or higher, but I just know me, my room, and my families tastes, and if we would have gotten a C4 or even a G4, we would have just cut the brightness in half and essentially operate the TV at B4 brightness anyhow. If you Wana listen to the reddit elitists and spend like $500-$1500 more for a slightly brighter TV, then be my guest. But given that I can get near the same picture quality (but way bigger!) for quite a bit cheaper, I went that route and then spent more on audio and a PlayStation. Seemed a no brainer to me. (What I saved on going with a B series basically netted me the console and audio for free.) Also, this seller was an amazing shipper. TV got here in days (via freight truck) when Amazon was saying it would be closer to 2 weeks. ... show more

So far its working at expected capacity, shipping was confusing but wasn't with prime directly, will update if needed, feels like a great upgrade from a 77inch c1 with this 83 inch b4 , has good brightness, price was great
