Works phenomenal for the little thing it is. Installation was a bit funky, but it worked out well enough. We have a 700 sqft trailer and it cools the whole place off when we open up the hallway. The airflow is great and very chilly. I had to find one specifically under 12 inches in height, and this was literally the only one I could find, and it fit perfectly. Very good buy for the price. It's fantastic; it cools the room quickly and is quite quiet. The performance seems to be excellent. It produces quite a deal of water, and the lower fan speed genuinely feels no different from the highest fan speed, which is why it receives a four-star rating. I would suggest it to anyone searching for a tiny room air conditioner. Only test it in a small space; I'm not sure how it works in a larger one. ... show more

    • Loud. So loud.
Didn’t make it one season. This thing is soooo loud. It just chugs non stop and can barely cool a room. I spent forever trying to find one small enough to go in my window and the reviews overall said it was quiet. It is not quiet it’s just awful and of course I can’t do anything about it

    • Unit runs great - after a simple repair.
Unit runs quiet - after I replaced a missing rubber compressor bushing. Went to test the unit, and it made a rumbling noise. Looking inside, I noticed the compressor was loose - the inner corner rubber bushing was missing. After I replaced that, the unit works fine. Blows out good cold air. LG should use 1 piece combination compressor hold down nuts with the rubber bushings, especially for the inner hold down, where it would be harder for workers in the factory to reach. ... show more

    • Decent "value" window AC unit.
IMHO this is a decent "value" air conditioner for small rooms. However, be prepared for a few things. 1. There is no drain hole. If you're clever and handy with a drill, you can add your own. If you don't you'll get some noise. 2. The noise is OK. it's about 50-55dB on high. You'll hear gurgling, water sloshing, and the fan. The water sloshing is because there is no drain hole for the condensation build-up like on the larger models. 3. Installation is pretty easy, on-par with other window units. It's lighter, so you may not need a complex support bracket but i'd still use one anyways. 4. Airflow is OK, it only has horizontal adjustment. No vertical adjustment, so it's going to take quite a while to cool a room down. 5. Keep it at 11. Err, 10. Below 8 it won't feel like it's cooling the air in the room. I'm sure there's a chart that explains the temperature associate with each setting, but just keep it at 10. That's all I got. I'd buy it again for another small room. ... show more
