Biggest AC I could get to fit my window. Has great features although app is a little bit weird to get use to. Cools room off fast, app works great so I can set a schedule for the AC. Able to use Alexa to turn the AC to low, change the thermostat on AC and turn on and off the AC. Great feature. With the app you can also turn the AC on or off when not at home, to cool off the room before you get there or if you happen to leave the unit on by accident if outside of the schedule you choose. I may turn the AC back on after the schedule time to turn off and may forget to turn it off. I have had LG's in the past and they have all been great, my last LG even worked after I accidentally dropped the unit while going down the stairs. I missed the last stair and dropped it. Controls on AC no longer worked or you really had to press hard but with remote worked just fine. Goes to show how well it is made.

I personally like to keep my bedroom cooler during the warmer months and I decided to get this for my bedroom. I will say that it was a little tricky having to adjust it to my window, but my husband was able to figure it all out. It did take a little bit of time, but it’s a really good price in comparison to where you can get other window units up certain retailers, so I am happy with that. I was able to use it this summer without any issues and feel like I was able to actually cut my power bill down a little bit by using that the thermostat is in my bedroom and I do have a large house so I know that I keep my room a little bit colder which makes my children’s rooms cold if I’m just using the air conditioner alone that goes with my HVAC system so having this really does help to be able to keep my room cooler without freezing everyone else out. This is great for your home if you have a smaller office or anything like that, I really am happy with it. It works for my bedroom. It works for smaller spaces, and it seems to be made nicely. My air-conditioner went out after 20 years, it never stopped completely working, but it started to get noisy. And it was a LG so I purchased the extract same size just in a newer version. What a difference 20 years will make, this version is stronger quite and lighter in weight, and I don't have to turn it up as high to get the same results. Awesome product 👌

I put this in my little 12 x 20 backyard shop with little to no insulation. When it was 100*+ outside this thing got a work out but it kept my shop at a nice 85*. I am thinking that after I put insulation in it, it will do a lot better on keeping it cool. It is also nice and quiet...not any annoying noise at all. I am happy with this unit after trying 5 different units. All in all, this puppy works like socks on a rooster.

When I got this delivered I plugged it in to test the cooling power & it worked GREAT!! BUT when I got it all installed & yes I followed the instructions to install to a T… the cooling & dry options ONLY COOLED FOR ABOUT 5 minutes then the “cycling” began of not cooling and then cooling for 5 mins, repeat.. I figured I’d leave it on for a few days to see tif it just needed time to cool the area. BUT NOPE I’ve had it set to 60degrees the lowest temp it goes to on dry and cool options and the temp remains at 74degrees for 2 weeks now! It’s cooler outside than it is in my home. Mind u I ALSO have 3 fans going to circulate the air and another ac about 20 feet away in a different room. Tried with no fans too and bc of the “SMART AC” it is it WONT STAY COOLING CONSTANTLY!!!! Also when I picked it up to install it in the ac place I have made in my home after testing it out, a WATERFALLLLLL OF WATER POUREDDDD OUT OF THE AC ALLL OVER ME AND THE FLOOR! I’m talking ABOUT A GALLON OF WATER! I don’t understand why it cooled perfectly with no cycling when I tested it out but now that it’s installed it’s performance it NON EXISTANT!! Veryyyy DISAPPOINTING AS I HAVE another LG air conditioner from about 10 years ago that out performs this one by a zillion%!! Will have to return it I guess after ALLLL OF THAT WORK I DID TO INSTALL IT! DO NOT BUY THE THIN Q LG AIR CONDITIONERS BC YOULL STILL BE SWEATING SITTING RIGHT IN FRONT OF IT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Right, the filter on LG dryers do the same thing, when you 1st use them, the air filter is timed out and you brush it off and reset the filter monitor software or settings on the phone app. Great AC cools great and is smaller than the old 8000 BTU AC it replaced.
