  • Excellent home theater projector, clear, bright, and whisper quiet
Style: PF510Q.AUS
I replaced my 10 year old ceiling mounted LG 1280x800 DLP projector with this LG CineBeam. It was as easy as disconnecting the power, HDMI, and audio cables, switching units, and reattaching all cables. The CineBeam gives a bright FHD (1920x1080p) display. The old unit performed flawlessly for 10 years, which says a lot about LG's quality. I can't comment on the internet-enabled features since I have an external firestick connected via HDMI. It's a security risk to connect everything to internet. The picture quality of the CineBeam, is great, bright, in focus, and consistent picture across the entirety of my ~100 inch display. I'm using a wired external sound system so I can't comment on the internal speaker. The fans are whisper quiet, just like they were in my old LG unit. And the pricepoint it right. DLP is a solid efficient projector technology and LG builds very reliable units. I couldn't be happier with this device. I'll upgrade to 4K when the size shrinks and the price drops in a few years. Until then, this is great. ... show more

  • Great projector
Style: PF510Q.AUS
Works well! It's a great projector for the bedroom. When I close my sheers, the image looks amazing, with them wide open, it’s just okay—but hey, it’s a projector, not a screen, so that’s expected. I got it at a low price, so I think it’s definitely worth it! It's super small and takes up almost no space on the shelf. Would recommend! ... show more

  • Fantastic Home Theater Projector
Style: PF610P.AUS
I’m using this for a home theater and I love it! Image quality and brightness is excellent for the price. It’s small, lightweight, and has a clean design. It was extremely easy to setup and is really easy to use (seriously). The LG WebOS could use some more apps, but I found that it works really well and love that it also has HomeKit support. This was one of the few projectors I found that has proper ports on the back of it (including a RJ45 jack for wired network). I wish it had three HDMI ports but I can get by with two. Thank you LG for including audio, network, and more than one HDMI port on your projectors (and also for not keeping anything ridiculous like VGA)! My one complaint was finding a ceiling mount to fit it, but I found that it really just needs a standard camera mount with a tripod screw and I finally found an inexpensive one that works well. Also, the power brick is a bit cumbersome for mounting this on a ceiling, so I just used some command strips to mount it out of the way. ... show more

  • Quiet and Colorful
Style: PF510Q.AUS
Vibrant colors and contrast that exceeded my expectations for this price point. User interface is from the 21st century, unlike many other projectors. Operates quietly enough that it doesn't draw attention to itself.

A fantastic replacement for bedroom TV

  • The perfect in-home portable.
Style: PF610P.AUS
I was looking for a projector with the following requirements/qualities: 1- Great image- faithful color reproduction and satisfying contrast 2- Light enough to be mounted on a tripod (for ease of positioning) 3- Not too bulky 4- Has good connectivity The PF610P ticks all of these boxes. The image is excellent for a projector at this size and price range- honestly, I wasn't expecting more. Many pre-set image modes skew green or blue, but this is not really an issue in the Cinema mode and the two Expert modes, so this is good to go without calibration if you're not very particular/picky. It also connects easily to my Bluetooth speaker. That's all I want from a projector, really. It has smart functions included but I personally rely on my Chromecast with Google TV. This is the second projector I own (the previous one was the LG Minibeam PH550). LG creates projectors that are easy to use and easy to love. I highly recommend this one. ... show more

  • Can't go wrong - great purchase!!
Style: PF510Q.AUS
I was looking at other "cheaper" options as this is my first projector purchase for my bedroom but I wanted to make sure I don't regret any purchases at the same time. I know LG is a more reputable brand so I purchased this one. Great small yet mighty product. Great picture, it's not loud, i LOVE that it has it's only webOS plus being able to airplay is even better - hoping they can add more apps in the future so I don't have to airplay much - takes the "fun" out of my endless scrolling. ... show more

  • 4 months of use and 1 trip and already experiencing issues.
Style: PF610P.AUS
Frankly, I'm impressed with the picture quality, brightness and features of this projector! However, after only 4 months and one trip on a very short flight (I hand carried it in OEM packaging.) an issue has started to persist. When turning on the projector it shuts off more or less immediately. If I have an HDMI in port 1 or 2 it will shut back off even quicker while providing the port connect/disconnect audio from my connection. So - in order to actually get it project takes 10-20+ power cycles with a slight process of waiting for the projector to fully cast the default display for some time then adding the HDMI. Again... I don't have issues with the picture quality or features. If only it would work every time first try for the cost. Update: So, I sent my projector back to LG in order to resolve my problem. I provided the details of where I needed the projector sent back... I spent several hours on the phone and on live chats that basically led nowhere as LG - despite me providing details on return shipment in multiple ways (via chat, call, letter inside the box, details on exterior of box). And they still sent it to the wrong address. LG clearly has a poor customer support infrastructure, which is a shame and provides a very Comcast like experience. And for those unfamiliar. A dumpster fire where you're probably spending more of your money to resolve an inherent device issue. ... show more
