  • An incredible quality display at a great price
Size: 55 inch Style: TV Only
As a movie buff and gaming enthusiast, I've been dying to get an OLED display for years. Due to the high price tags, they've always been out of my reach. This year I had a larger than expected tax refund, though, so I decided to finally replace my living room TV and finding an affordable display has been a game changer. The video quality is absolutely incredible. Breathtaking HDR, the inkiest blacks I've ever witnessed, and tons of options to tweak the performance to your individual liking make this a visual feast. The viewing angles are so broad that I can comfortably watch from the very sides of the TV without any loss in quality. Sometimes I just like watching YouTube 4K HDR demos to marvel at the lush visuals. The audio is fine, but I definitely recommend using at least a soundbar, preferably a surround sound setup. It's a completely different experience. The software is good, with a responsive interface and solid remote. The real benefit I found is the ability to turn off the ads and suggestions. My previous Vizio display wouldn't stop advertising to me and it made me absolutely crazy. The ability to opt out of that is a huge selling point for me. It also is an amazing gaming display, with HDMI 2.1, VRR, native 120hz refresh rate, and ultra low latency. It's an absolute dream to play modern games on, but they didn't include any component or composite inputs, so if you're looking to do classic gaming you'll need to get a separate HDMI converter box. All around, this is an incredible TV that's packed with features and comes at a price you can barely believe. I can't possibly recommend it highly enough. ... show more

  • Impressive TV
Size: 65 inch Style: TV Only
My first introduction to OLED was a 55" LG from 2020, which was also a B series TV. When I needed another bigger TV, I of course went for another LG OLED. This time it was this 65" and I have not been disappointed. This TV is wall mounted in my setup, but it delivered smoothly and was very nicely boxed. It also works great for gaming. I have hooked up my PC with an Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti and HDMI 2.1 cables at 4k 120 Hz and while frame rates are taxing on a 4k 65" screen, I can attest that it's stunningly beautiful. Pro Tip: Ensure you don't remove the plastic tie straps until you have it where you want to unbox it since the box slides off from the top (bottom box is not attached to top). It was super easy to mount, has an excellent and clean look, and the picture quality is exactly what you would expect. NOTE: While I have no visible dead or stuck pixels, I can confirm that my 55" which is at about 6000 hours of "on" time does have a considerable amount of dead pixels around the edge of the screen. Unfortunately, this seems to be a common problem and fortunately, it really isn't noticeable unless you sit 2 feet from the screen and look for them. When you aren't thinking about them, it's not an issue and you can't really see them when watching shows and movies. I don't think it will deter me enough from the excellent contrast and viewing angles you get from OLED, but maybe for someone else this is important. ... show more

  • Great for photo viewing/editing
Size: 55 inch Style: TV Only
I use this "smart tv" as a dumb monitor, and I'm pleased to say that after setup, it has not pestered me at all. When it powers up, it acts as a monitor every time. As a photo editor, it is awesome. Blacks are totally black, whites totally white, and tonal response between them is smooth and easily tweaked in the setup. I mostly edit at HDTV resolution and display the photos at 4K. It also works well for streaming media, no issues. It does not work with my Sony blu-ray player and after 2+ hours online with DG support, they said it's Sony's fault and suggested I buy a DG player. I haven't tested the speakers, either. ... show more

  • Delivery issues, but awesome TV
Size: 77 inch Style: TV Only
Delivery was a mess. after zero communication for 3 weeks, TV was dropped off unannounced at 6:00 am in the snow. I was told they would schedule and bring in, and that just didnt happen. After sitting in snowfall for a few hours Had to have a neighbor and his wife take it inside for me since I was at work. Once setup though, the TV is awesome, great contrast and color. Super bright, and responsive. ... show more

  • One of the best lower cost OLED TVs that you can find
Size: 65 inch Style: TV Only
I purchased this television to upgrade from a ten year old 4K television and wow the different in picture is astounding and I'm thrilled I read reviews of how substantially better colors are with OLED compared to some of the LED technology that is out there. I use this television in conjunction with an Apple TV 4k and a Vizio 5.1 Surround Sound System. While I don't use the majority of the smart applications built into the webOS environment of the TV, I have used them a few times and found them to work remarkably well especially if you're planning to test the picture quality of the television out using the YouTube App and some of the LG hosted channels that really showcase how beautiful pictures can be. Watching several 4k HDR videos from YouTube were incredible - I could see individual strands of hair and dander coming off a tiger on a nature show. When switching from content that is HDR to Dolby Vision and vice versa, the television changes pretty quickly and adapts as it should. When it comes to sound, I prefer to use an external system via HDMI ARC. This television had zero issues connecting to the sound bar and I had to make no adjustments to sync the audio with the picture. I've had zero HDMI handshaking issues with the AppleTV or the Vizio 5.1 system. I can turn the entire system off using the Apple TV remote. While I am not a home theater enthusiast, I'm really enjoying this television. I strongly recommend for anyone that wants a 65" OLED television. Sure, there are higher end ones with faster processing that might be better suited for gaming. But if you're watching sports and movies, it gets the job done pretty nicely. ... show more

  • Vibrant and at a good price
Size: 65 inch Style: TV Only
Quality and price ratio is excellent. Could do without the LG installed spamware though.
