Plug cutters are perfect for my needs. Only complaint is that when searching for these cutters, I rejected all ones that specified metric sizes and opted to purchase this set listed with fractional sizes. The packaging lists the sizes as ordered, but upon opening the package, the cutters are marked with the metric sizes. The metric sizes are very close to the fractional drill bits that I have, and I made do with them, but I would not have purchased if I knew they were metric. ... show more

These are junk! The plugs that they cut are not sized for anything and were sharpened horribly! Don't waste your money. Amazon shame on you for selling something of this poor quality! I knew that they are not high quality but I thought that they would get a few smaller projects done. Nope definitely not! I would send them back but unfortunately I used some of them. It is difficult to see by the pictures but plugs look like a beaver chewed them out and the cutting edge on all the bits is pathetic. ... show more

Imperfect Design results in a lot of friction with wood when drilling, so lots of heat, smoke, burnt surfaces. This is regardless of drilling speed. The longer, "tube" type bits have only 1 cutting edge that dulls very quickly. Don't count on using these very long, unless you're into sharpening after every use. ... show more
