We waited 10 days for our new TV and got it at 6:30PM last night. Waited til this morning to switch out TVs and got everything plugged in but hadn’t taken the protective plastic off yet. Turned it on and this is what we saw. Couldn’t really tell with the plastic on. Looked like there were some bubbles but couldn’t see cracks. What a shock and disappointment! The box wasn’t damaged at all and packing material was all intact. It did ride around in UPS truck for hours and hours. Don’t know how it could have been damaged but it’s trash now. We’ll pick one up from Best Buy and check it before we leave. 😢 Update: We have purchased and have been using this same model TV for about a week. We love the TV! The picture is excellent and now that we’re getting used to the Magic Remote it’s easy to use. We used our last LG TV for 9 years and it was still working great which is why we decided to stick with LG. I definitely recommend this TV but maybe not home delivery of same.

Great TV if you're watching bright scenes. Watching a dark movie or a movie with black bars shows how bad the black level really is. The black level just gets crushed and on top of that, back light bleeding puts a haze over them. I know this doesn't have local dimming zones but I have four other TV's without that and the blacks look good to great (depending on the TV) and no back light bleeding. This is 2020 and just not acceptable. I haven't seen black level this bad since a LCD TV I bought back in 2005. I contacted LG support and will update my review if they are any help.

The only thing I didn't like was the two piece stand set wide apart. Requires a 48+inch TV stand or a wall mount. Should come with center swivel. Otherwise TV is beautiful. Picture is amazing. People complained about ads. You can choose to disable ads at initial setup,so don't believe all the reviews you read. People are dumb.

My original order of three of these for our daughter's new home produced two in good order, and one with a fractured screen - no apparent damage on outside carton. Luckily, I saved the double shipping cartons so that I could return the broken TV to the Tennessee-based vendor. Since it was an Amazon Marketplace, I had to pay $16 for in home pick up by UPS, but not for the total shipping cost back to Tennessee. Perhaps, at 80 years old, I could have rented a truck and transported it to the local UPS Store, but that was a major hassle for me. The first replacement unit came via an Amazon Logistics truck and it also had a fractured screen. Amazon Logistics covered in home pick up via UPS - a big thank you. The second replacement also came via Amazon Logistics and is looking and working fine. I experienced a 40% damage rate which is puzzling for a reputable brand like LG. Anyway, we are going to mount these on walls this weekend and are very happy with the picture quality for the price. Highly recommend the product, BUT, save your shipping cartons until you are certain that all is well with the unit.

Received the TV pretty quickly but the video doesn’t work. Can hear but no image on the screen. Called tech support and determined that it’s the video (t-conn board) connection. They offered to repair it but you shouldn’t have to repair a brand new TV. Buy locally - it doesn’t look like Amazon does well shipping electronics.
