  • I would give this LG 43" LED TV a 10 out of 10
Perfectly sized 43". Yes, a TV can be too big, especially space wise and visually, when its in a smaller, efficiently spaced living room. Most important is that LED TVs give off a lot of heat so the bigger the screen the more heat you produce and therefore you can potentially create a very uncomfortable temperature in the room (ask me how I know). LG is of course the gold standard in TVs and this does not disappoint. Picture quality is clear, crisp and the sound is excellent. 43" is big enough for watching comfortably in a medium or large sized living room and perfect for being used as a computer monitor as I have my desktop, mouse and keyboard remotely connected in the back. Because this was an LG, I was also able to use my old LG remote (which I was used to), vs the remote that came with this model. It was too fussy and unnecessary since I already had my computer connected to the control of the TV. PLUS, its has a new feature (for me) where you can adjust the screen contrast from (a VERY BRIGHT BLUE WHITE) to (a TONED DOWN MELLOW OFF WHITE but still have the picture be very clear and crisp). Seeing how excessive exposure to LED bright blue light can damage your eyesight over time, being able to lessen the brightness and blue light, was a godsend. . ... show more

  • Spectacular entertainment at home!
Couldn’t be happier with this purchase. I bought the TV for elderly parents. It’s helped us come together again and recapture the magic of sharing a home theater. Gorgeous resolution and colors. The unit itself is heavy and a little tricky to assemble. Once assembled, though, it’s a gorgeous and elegantly thin addition to the living room. We can’t stop buying UltraHD blue ray movie discs to watch on this TV. Can’t recommend highly enough! ... show more

  • Unimpressed. Frustrating.
I bought the Walmart version of this tv, 43UQ7070, which isn't on Amazon. This looks like the same tv, different year of production. Buyer beware. Unlike my 15-year-old Vizio TVs, this LG is extremely frustrating to control with an Amazon Fire Stick remote. My other seven Vizio, Panasonic and Sony TVs immediately tune to the fire stick input and menu. This TV only did that with a couple of hours of me tinkering with various settings. Also, LG wants you to create an account and jump through a bunch of hoops just to start using the TV. Ridiculous. ... show more

  • Good not great
Note I purchased this television at Costco, not Amazon. What I don't like: Poor 4k upscaling Motion blur Slow processor response time for both remote control commands and loading the picture channel surfing. Wonky remote control There is a bug in LG Channels. This television has to be connected to WiFi before LG Channels will work. Once you have loaded the app you can go back to Ethernet. Tuner sensitivity is on the lower side. My other televisions in the house pick up 68 channels off the antenna, this one 62. What I do like: The 4k picture is great. Just ok: LG Web OS. I also purchased the Sony 43X800H this year which has a similar list price. It is a far superior television in almost every regard. I do give the 4k picture on the LG props for being slightly better than the Sony X800H but every other aspect of the X800H is miles ahead of the LG from the remote control, to the operating system, to overall picture quality and feature set. The black levels are not the best on both television sets. Overall I would not purchase the LG 43UM7300 again. For the money, it's not bad, I just expect more. ... show more

  • GREAT PURCHASE
We were pleasantly surprised with all the features on this TV. Built in Alexa, and so much more. The picture quality is beautiful. Great price.
