Nice umbrella - just took it for a walk in the rain. Auto open worked quite well, as did the auto close. One thing I like about this umbrella is that it has 9 fiberglass ribs - not 6 metal ribs, like my other umbrellas. As a result, it's stronger and more durable than they are. It's also totally waterproof, unlike another one I have, that works until it gets soaked with rain, and then lets water drip through periodically. I walked with this on a decently windy day, and there were no blow outs or other problems. A nice change. For $15.59 from Amazon, this is a steal. Highly recommended. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I must have gotten the one out of a hundred where the open/close mechanism stopped working. As I commented in my video, I had opened and closed the umbrella several times without a hitch and then it just wouldn’t open. I even had my husband try it and that was a no-go to.
