  • It was pretty? But Lexivon set me straight
Size: 3/4"DR. 30~300 FT-LB Handle Material: Standard
Update #2 05-29-26 Just wanted to thank Lexivon again for the replacement years ago. I am still using this 3/4 torque wrench now here in mid 2026 and it has seen a lot of work. Definitely worth it's 5 stars Update #1 01-12-23 I am updating this review of my own accord (originally 1 star). Lexivon never asked or even mentioned changing my review I am changing it because it is much deserved. So, the initial problems I had are under the "Original Review" header under this one if you want to know more. After writing my first review Lexivon contacted me immediately and asked me some questions about what happened and condition of the package and packaging when it arrived. After discussing everything they immediately sent me a replacement 3/4 torque wrench and unlike my first one this one has been holding up almost no problem since I got it. I think the first one I got was just faulty, lets be realistic faulty ones get through sometimes no matter the cost. Also the adapters I ordered from Lexivon were very high quality for the cost. I am not unrealistic in thinking this torque wrench should last "forever" especially at it's low cost. But my first one only lasted a total of only about 4 hours. The replacement I received has had no issues, I have been using it almost every other day. I am now VERY happy with the product and value. I also want like to to thank Lexivon for making sure I got a quality product this time. Original Review: Bought this to do a front bearing hub job on an 02 Ram 3500 dually. It was great out of the package. But before I was even finished with the first bearing the locking mechanism crapped out. I thought, okay, I can make do with just keeping my hand off the adjustment handle....Well, got the job done but by the skin of my teeth. Just as I had torqued the final spindle nut to spec the wrench started to slip teeth. I'm hoping that it is just the one I got and not all of them are this bad, because as quickly as this failed it made my harbor freight torque wrenches look like Snap Ons. ... show more

  • High-capacity measure Torque Wrench
Size: 3/4"DR. 30~300 FT-LB Handle Material: Standard
I purchased this particular torque wrench to torque lug nuts at 300 ft. lbs. I have a large overlander truck that requires a high torque on the rim install. I cannot measure the torque to its accuracy, but I have torque down my lugs and when I remove them to see how high it is to remove them, this torque wrench measure in both on-off as my lug on my vehicle have Right hand and left hand lugs. Just to be clear I needed a torque wrench that could torque in both directions. I use a smaller torque wrench that I have that goes to 250 ft. lbs. of torque and when I use this one against it, the settings are within the scope of the marks to each other. If I have a verification at 250 ft. Lbs. which I do, then I am going with some blind faith that it is very close at 300 ft. lbs. Close enough that I am not worried about losing my lug nuts. It is well made, easy to set and comes with a nice case, I keep this torque wrench on my truck as it is the only unit I have that needs 300 ft. lbs. I also have a 40" breaker bar to remove those lugs by hand if needed. I can tell you that 40" is minimal, I wish I could have found a longer one, but then comes the storage. I do carry a heavy wall pipe that is 40" as well, to help elongate the breaker bar. Yes, this is a very good value for the money spent, it works as well as the several hundred-dollar torque wrenches. ... show more

  • Get this thing
Size: 3/4"DR. 30~300 FT-LB Handle Material: Standard
Fantastic torque wrench. I needed a torque wrench that goes to 275lbs torque. This monster does up to 330ft/lbs and is surprisingly high quality. Nicer than my previous Mattco that only went up to 175ft/lbs and a fraction of the price. Definitely highly recommend

  • Arrived set close to its max torque out of box
Size: 3/4"DR. 30~300 FT-LB Handle Material: Standard
EDIT: The exchanged unit came set correctly for storage. Going to use it tomorrow so as long as it doesn’t break this edited review will stay 4 stars because I really like the look and feel and color scheme of the product. I was pretty excited to have such a high capacity torque wrench and when this one arrived I was blown away by the quality of the packaging, the blow molded case, the high contrast aesthetic, and the easy to read scales. I was pretty mortified to see that the wrench came out of the box set to ≈275ft lbs. o thought to myself “well I thought you were supposed to store torque wrenches on their lowest setting, or at least that’s how my 2 smaller ones work.” I went looking through the little owners manual that came with this wrench to see if it somehow worked differently and sure enough there are instructions to store the wrench at its lowest setting of 30 ft lbs. My guess is that when the wrench was being tested and calibrated for accuracy, the tester threw it in the box at the last setting they used in testing. I have no idea how long it has been sitting in warehouses or transport set to 275 ft lbs but I don’t trust it anymore and will have to buy a different one. ... show more

  • This thing is a beast!
Size: 3/4"DR. 30~300 FT-LB Handle Material: Standard
This torque wrench is pretty nice and an amazing deal for the money. For those of you who would like to tackle front wheel bearings on your 4x4, 3/4” tools are a must! But don’t forget to order 3/4” sockets and a set of short extensions. To put the required 200 or so pounds of torque on that axle nut, you will have to put the wheel back on and set the wheel on the ground. To torque the nut at that point, you’ll need a short extension. But adding the cost of these tools up will still be a bargain compared to the cost of a shop doing it. With the length of this torque wrench, I was amazed at how easy it was to put 200 pounds of torque on the wheel nuts. ... show more

  • Worked for me!
Size: 3/4"DR. 30~300 FT-LB Handle Material: Standard
I needed this to replace a wheel bearing hub in my truck. The torque spec for the axle was 275ft/lbs and this did the trick. For the price point, it is decent. I also used it to torque the brake caliper bolts after buying a 3/4” impact socket for that too (was surprised to see these also have a very high torque spec over 200ft/lb. So far, no problems, better than guessing and assuming it’s tight enough. I’d recommend this to the next guy looking for an inexpensive alternative. It’s shorter in the handle, only goes to 300 pounds, but cost a lot less than others if it does the job. Keep it clean and in the case and it will probably last for years ... show more
