My middle son graduated and for a gift he wanted to build his own computer, which I thought was great. We both did our research a decided on the Lexar Thor Z brand 32GB kit. It was a great choice! The performance blows away any computer I have ever had. We had fun putting it through it's paces too. Installation was a breeze as well. We both grounded ourselves buy touching static resistant bags, which I recommend before doing any computer work. It was totally compatible with his motherboard, which I also recommend determining before hand as well. Building a computer is so much easier today in that area than it was before. The memory capacity is exactly what was advertised. It really should not be anything different. If it is, check your installation and contacts. And yes, this is Rgb Ram (Red, Green Blue). Is it necessary? Not really. But he thinks it is really cool and he loves it! So yeah, it's worth the price for that reason alone. The value is good. Not great. But there is a memory shortage. I don't blame the manufacturer. I think that is unfair. If I felt it was overpriced I'd give it four stars, but I am finding no ram being cheap nor would I trust it. This is also an item I'd consider buying the extended warranty on if you can. I included images of the PC running. He has a glass case!

This ram was not on my motherboard’s QVL list but on the pictures provided by the manufacturers it did say it was compatible with my device so I took the chance and bought it. It was way cheaper than everything else on the market so I was scared but it did work and worked well when xmp was enabled. It clocked the fast speeds as advertised. I love it. As well as the RGB lighting is really nice

I love these. They are rated for 6000 MHz but are set to 4800 MHz by default, so remember to turn on the over clocking in your motherboard to get full speeds. The RGB on these are beautiful and very easy to configure. I haven't really put these through their paces, but even running local LLMs like Gemma and playing games like God of War Ragnarok, Forza Horizon 6, The Witcher, and emulators. The RAM performs very well, and the capacity is great for work and productivity. I ran a few stress tests and they never got hotter than above 46⁰C so I'm happy to report that they run very cool. These are a bit pricy, so you might be able to get less expensive RAM that are just as good, but I can vouch for these, and these are good.

The RAM worked, what more could you ask for? ordered this after receiving a 1/2 DOA of a different brand. prices being as they are, i didn't want to pay more than i had to, and didnt want to risk buying the same brand and receiving a returned bad stick. I bought this to try in an AMD platform since it shows it's AMD EXPO compliant. MB is an MSI MAG B850 Tomahawk running bios ver 7E62v2A62 (June 30 26). The DDR posted in standard SPD speed, but once I selected the EXPO setting for the RAM it reset and posted running at the rated 6000mhz. I 3d gamed on the system for several hours without a glitch and then let it run a round of Memtest86 just to let it have a look and it also passed with no issues. (photo attached). The RAM seems a good value and runs as sold.

Bought this less than a month ago and they've already failed... recieved multiple blue screens referencing ram and a final blue screen corrupting my windows installation.
