The app that the mics works with has a picture-in-picture recording function. It's actually a good recording app. The app will export the recorded video file to the phone and to many of the other video apps I have loaded. You can use it as a bluetooth headset for phone calls. You can monitor your audio via the included earphone plugged into the unit itself. You can use your own wired headphones with it. It's really small. Compare it to other wireless mic systems that needs two units (sender/receiver) to work. Cons: It doesn't work with other apps.* (It does work for phone calls). I hope they open that up. It takes over the outgoing audio, just like almost any other bluetooth headset. * according to their website, you can use their mics with other apps if you have TWO units. I had only one unit so I couldn't test that.

This Wireless mic works well in terms of sound quality and range. The big drawback, which I was not aware of, is that it will only work while filming through their own “Smart Mike” app. The app has very limited video capability and options.

I acknowledge that when this microphone is used the the app - it worked VERY well. I am curious if there is a way it will work to help with Facebook Live streams. If I open the app and then start a Facebook Live, will it work then? If this product won't do this - do you know of a microphone that will?

This little wireless lav mic packs a punch in terms of sound quality and range (50ft!). In looking for an affordable option for my YouTube videos, the LEWINNER BT Wireless lav mic was worth a test run. A full test is done with my Android Note 9. Recordings were done with the stock settings right out of the download (for the app). The recordings were done indoors, with the mic around a foot away from my mouth for one test and the mic clipped onto my shirt for the other test. The cool thing about this mic is that the power button can be used as a remote to start and stop recording whenever you want so you dont have to keep running back to your phone. On the Note 9, Bluetooth is needed to be turned on to make the connection. To pair the mic you long press the power button until the blue light starts flashing and it pairs under "smartmic". You get an earphone to listen to your recordings in real time. This mic only works with a dedicated app. The Smartmike+ app is very well made and very easy to download, setup and to navigate. The app shows the mic levels and also allows you to do all sorts of convenient things such as adjust noise, and allows subtitles in real time as well. This mic does not allow for live streaming on YouTube, Facebook, or Instagram but I have seen other reviewers say it works for zoom but I have not tried Zoom yet. Does the pros outweigh the cons? The simple answer is yes. This wireless Bluetooth microphone is a great find for making recordings for any content creator. The lavalier mic can be easily clipped on to your clothes and carried for travel in the hard-shell case. The overall quality of the build is quite sturdy. I’m giving this 5 Stars for the sound quality, range, and size along with ease of use for a wireless mic at this price range. This will be my go-to mic for most of my YouTube videos in the field when I need to record fast and efficiently. Highly recommended!

Your browser does not support HTML5 video. I am using the mic to record audio and video, it is so clear, I walked upstairs and still heard my voice very clear when I played it back. When you are listening to your recording, be sure to plug the headphone in. You can add your title and upload the video to your drive or other folders. I was going to send the mic back because it wouldn't sync but that was because I didn't know I had to hold the smart mike button once it was downloaded to the phone and hold down the button on the side of the mic to pair it, smartmike+ will appear at the top of the phone. I thought it was paired once the app was downloaded but, that wasn't the case. I give 5 stars☺👏🏾

I bought this not for vlogging, but to provide a wireless lapel microphone to use with my mobile phone while bicycling. The instructions provided are directed at vloggers. It was not obvious to me how I could use this as I wanted. My original desire was to use this microphone in conjunction with a single bluetooth earbud that I already own. However, it is not possible to have them connected to the phone via bluetooth at the same time. Eventually I figured out I need to use the wired button earbud supplied with the microphone. It plugs directly into the microphone (see picture). My sound quality to listeners was very good, despite being in a windy environment. I wish the earbud was better quality - it wanted to fall out of my ear all the time - but it was adequate. I used this wireless microphone/wired earbud combo with Zoom successfully on my iphone.

Using the clip on mic so I can simultaneously teach in class students and distance learners at same time. The usb is connected wirelessly to an iPad that initiates Google meet and mirrors to in class large screen monitor. Then I use a second iPad to log into meeting to present so DL students see presentations on their Chromebook and students on the monitor. The mic allows me to be heard whether I walk around or turn my back to doodle on the white board.
