This reel is super smooth, super fast and deadly accurate when casting. It's just phenomenal for the price point. Excellent seller also. Had it to me very blazing fast. 10 stars all around. You won't be disappointed buying this reel. I'd buy it again and again. No lie. No bs. This thing can cast a 1/2 ounce jig 80 yards or more on a MH 7ft 4inch rod. It's insane. Plus you can burn it back to you at blazing speed. Covers tons of water. It's just amazing. Worth every freggin penny! ... show more

I really like this casting reel. I've used it four or five times so far while float fishing for steelhead in Michigan and it's been great. Love the 8+ return and the 20 lbs drag system. So far it's handled a couple 12 - 15lbs steelhead with no problems. I especially like the large reel line guide off the spool that doesn't freeze up like the smaller guides on most reels. I fish a lot in sub freezing weather and not having the reel line guide freeze up is important. Am looking forward to seeing how it holds up against the 20-30 lbs king salmon this fall. Got this reel for $150 and set it up for flipping a jig. The reel is awesome. Super smooth and works and feels better than my $300 reels. Liked it so much I ordered another and found it for $120 (couldn't resist). It arrived, put line on it and adjusted it or flipping & pitching soft plastics. I used them both a few days ago and caught large mouths with both, Jig and 7" Worm. I ended up catching a big girl that weighed 6lb 9oz and had zero issues with the 8.3:1 ratio with wearing her out and bringing her in. Couldn't be happier with how effortless casting is. Went with the 8.3:1 to get them out of cover as quick as possible after a hookup. I will probably get a few more for other applications and shelf the ones a swap out and keep them as backups. The deck of my boat will be full of rods with these reels. They seem very well built and I imagine that they will hold up. ... show more
