I purchased this LEVOIT Humidifiers for Bedroom Large Room Home because I already had one from last winter and absolutely LOVE it. It is so quiet and it has so many great features, especially operating it from the app and setting up a schedule to turn on and off. I set mine to turn on every night at 10:00 p.m. and turn off at 6:00 a.m. It is very quiet and it provides a cool mist. This has helped me so much this winter with keeping my sinuses from drying out due to having the heat on. I use BestAir 3BT-PDQ-6 Original BT Humidifier Bacteriostatic Water Treatment in my units to keep the units clean and from getting funky. I put three capfuls in the water tank each time I fill the tank with water. This has also helped my older humidifier unit and it's staying clean and not getting any type of funk or buildup. I have to fill with water about every 2-3 days. I have had zero trouble with my older unit which is why I chose to purchase another just like it. As cool mist humidifiers go, this one is easy to clean and operate. One part is a little difficult to remove for cleaning and I have been able to manage. Distilled water is recommended, and you need at least three cups of white vinegar to clean it every three days. I elected not to download the app and have been pleased that the machine works fine without it. The Levoit does a good job moistening the air in my bedroom and it is extremely quiet. Sleep mode shuts down all those annoying LEDs! My only issue with the humidifier is that because the touchpad buttons are flat and don't "give" when you push them, and there are no haptics associated with them, if the unit is in sleep mode (no lights, operating according to humidity level in the room), there is no way to tell if you've successsfully turned it off. I found myself blindly pushing buttons more than once. ... show more

This has been a great humidifier. I have had this for over a year now and I am pleased with how well it works and has held up over time. This unit has a really big tank for water storage which I really enjoy. I like that I don’t have to refill the water each time that I use it. So that is a bonus. It has adjustable settings, a night time mode where you can shut the control panel lights off while you sleep and it also has a neat nightlight option which is really handy. Love the humidifier it stopped my boyfriends nose bleeds but it takes 2 gallons of water every day to fill and it runs out every day. Its very quiet and I have a bedroom that used to be a 1 car garage and it works good for the size. I recommend getting those humidifier fish things as well so youre humidifier doesnt get water lines on the inside. Theres not a nasty smell or anything to the humidifier and it doesnt get hot either so It works great for us. It's just refilling it daily thats a bit frustrating but when its trying to bring humidity to a room this large I can understand. ... show more

I've read all the negative reviews and honestly they were more of a nitpicking rant then on the overall product. The one that resonated was about it leaking...hmmm. after all my research this one always rose to the top for its price range and quality. I've had it going on a month maybe more and it worked flawlessly. Infact it regulated the humidity in my room so well that it stayed at a desirable humidity percentage even with the machine off. Its not difficult to clean unless you lazy plus must parts excluding the base obviously can go in your dishwasher. So bottom line great price and great value. ... show more

I bought this humidifier in January, 2023. It was everything you would expect of a humidifier - it is super quiet - it puts out a lot of moisture - it doesn't' deposit moisture on nearby furniture - the app is easy to program - you can schedule any function from the app. That is, until the unit won't work after a power outage. So why the 5-star review of a unit that unexpected dies after a total of maybe 9 months of usage over a 3 year period? I didn't purchase the 3-year extended warranty, so the best I could hope for was getting help for some magical sequence of button pushes that would reset everything. I contacted Levoit and they quickly responded and after reviewing a short video I provided of the unit not working, they suggested an additional way of resetting the electronics beyond what is described in the user manual. That didn't work, but still I am happy. Why? After trying all know ways to reset the unit, I notified Levoit that the unit was dead, and they offered to send me a brand new replacement. How's that for customer service! Here is what Rufus says about the warranty: "The LEVOIT Classic 300S Humidifier comes with a Satisfaction Guaranteed warranty. If your product is defective, LEVOIT's California-based Customer Support Team will send you a replacement right away without requiring you to ship it back. For additional coverage, you can purchase an extended warranty through Amazon to extend protection up to 3 years if you'd like extra peace of mind." They take "Satisfaction Guaranteed" seriously. Warranty expired. No extended warranty. Customer not thrilled that unit cannot survive a power outage. New unit on the way. That, boys and girls, is how you crush the competition and win customers for life. ... show more
