I have purchased COUNTLESS different humidifies over the years. In the end I never really liked the ones I purchased and would only end up using them for a short amount of time. This one is very well made, the parts are sturdy not like some of the cheap plastic ones I had purchased previously. It is very user friendly, you can fill it up and turn it on and get it going right away. I feel the tank capacity is good sized for your average sized bedroom. I love that it has a display for the humidity instead of having to try and guess what the humidity of the room may be at. It is also quiet which is a huge plus for me as I don't like hearing the loud noise in my bedroom. It has a light function which I don't use as I prefer it dark in the room, but some people may enjoy that feature. I also found it easy to take apart and clean which is always a plus. I have noticed a huge improvement in the humidity level of the room since having purchased this. I purchased this LEVOIT humidifier about three years ago, and it is still working perfectly with no issues. I always follow the maintenance recommended by the manufacturer, and the unit rewards you with long‑term reliability. The app control is very convenient — it shows humidity levels, schedules, and operation status right on the phone. I regularly check the sponge inside the clear tank and replaced it when the color turns dark brown. Keeping the unit clean is important, and it has been easy to maintain. My only small concern is not knowing exactly when the black ring (where the vapor comes out) should be replaced, but so far it continues to work well. As cool mist humidifiers go, this one is easy to clean and operate. One part is a little difficult to remove for cleaning and I have been able to manage. Distilled water is recommended, and you need at least three cups of white vinegar to clean it every three days. I elected not to download the app and have been pleased that the machine works fine without it. The Levoit does a good job moistening the air in my bedroom and it is extremely quiet. Sleep mode shuts down all those annoying LEDs! My only issue with the humidifier is that because the touchpad buttons are flat and don't "give" when you push them, and there are no haptics associated with them, if the unit is in sleep mode (no lights, operating according to humidity level in the room), there is no way to tell if you've successsfully turned it off. I found myself blindly pushing buttons more than once. ... show more

I got this for by basement because we run a wood stove in the winter making things extra dry. Filling is super easy you just pop the top off and it holds as few gallons. It does the job and works in my small office, but if I put it in the living room for example it struggles to get the humidity up. Aside from that it does its job well for the price and provides a noticeable difference in the air but if you’ve got a big area to cover you might need more than one. ... show more

I purchased this LEVOIT Humidifiers for Bedroom Large Room Home because I already had one from last winter and absolutely LOVE it. It is so quiet and it has so many great features, especially operating it from the app and setting up a schedule to turn on and off. I set mine to turn on every night at 10:00 p.m. and turn off at 6:00 a.m. It is very quiet and it provides a cool mist. This has helped me so much this winter with keeping my sinuses from drying out due to having the heat on. I use BestAir 3BT-PDQ-6 Original BT Humidifier Bacteriostatic Water Treatment in my units to keep the units clean and from getting funky. I put three capfuls in the water tank each time I fill the tank with water. This has also helped my older humidifier unit and it's staying clean and not getting any type of funk or buildup. I have to fill with water about every 2-3 days. I have had zero trouble with my older unit which is why I chose to purchase another just like it. I love that I can start using my humidifier right out of the box. No difficult setup or making sure parts are placed properly. I just plugged in, filled with water, and started it. I downloaded the app, vesync, and quickly created an account. I was easily able to sync the device to my wifi and connect to the app by pressing one button. From the app, I can control the settings such as desired humidity levels. When I set to a specific humidity level, the device auto shuts off at 5% above and auto turns on at 5% below. If you're looking for an affordable, easy to setup, and precise humidifier with a large water capacity, this is my recommended product! ... show more
