For whatever reason the builder put all of the cat 5 cable in a dual gang box. Once you hook them up to the switch no way it would fit. I didn't want to spend nearly a $100 on the fancy boxes so this worked perfectly for the money. It's in our closet so doesn't have to be flush or perfect. It hides everything now and looks descent. This is the smaller structured Enclosure and it IS plastic, NOT metal. I believe the larger ones are metal but none of these enclosures are water resistant and intended to be used inside. I only needed it for my phone lines and it does NOT come with any boards or options pictured. You have to purchase those separately depending on your project. I had some home network cat5 and coaxial cables to manage and the builder didn’t leave me a lot of room. This box fit perfectly. A bit flimsier than I was expecting but for the money it was perfect.

The box itself was easy to install into an existing wall. I cut out a hole in the drywall and then mounted the box to the studs. It allowed me to hide all of the ethernet cables and make the necessary connections behind the cover. Great value for the money. I loved the finished product.

This is just a empty box. I bought it for a job and just now opened it 6-12-19 and nothing in it at all just a plastic box. Feel like I was Mislead by the pictures showing Components Inside.

It was not what I wanted. The lid was kind of cheap and I returned it for a 4 gang blank wall switch box. It gives a much more finished look, although not nearly as big. It better suited my needs than this.
