Used this to replace a couple of plugs which had become non-functional due to the wire breaking about 3 inches from the old ones. They are robust, easy to install, and look like they will hold up for years to come. This was for some vacuum cleaners used by the members of the Mormon church to clean their buildings, because if you only have 100,000,000,000 in the bank you can't really afford to hire janitors. You need your members to do this for you for free. Anyhow, these did the trick and allowed me to further contribute to that movement without them having to spend a dime of their 100,000,000,000 stock market investment. ... show more

No directions for us "UN-handy" guys, so I googled and found out how to put it on. I didn't know the whole thing opened up. Once that was discovered it was pretty easy to do. I'm no longer an electric cord repair virgin!
