These are my favorite cut-off jean shorts. I own 3 pairs and they are all I wear in the summer. They wash and wear well, are sexy without your butt hanging out, and are the perfect waist level...high enough for slightly cropped tops but look great with tuck-ins, too. I feel like everyone's butt will look great in these. I have a flat a** and it gives my cheeks a fuller look, and my girlfriends with nicer booties look amazing in them, too.

I usually wear a size 28 so that’s what I ordered and they fit great. Although they are a bit shorter than I expected them to be. For reference I am 5’2 140lbs. Size 28 waist and 36 hips, I carry most of my weight in my butt/thighs.

The cutest shorts

So let me preface this by saying these are the CUTEST shorts. As advertised they do run small, I wear a 27 pretty much across the board and have multiple pairs in that size, but they are very fitted and very cheeky. These were a good deal, so I sized up to a 28 hoping for a little more booty coverage. There is slightly more coverage, and the waist is looser so a slightly more comfortable fit, but I think I like the way the 27’s look better so I may end up returning. Now to be clear, I use comfortable very loosely because these are not comfortable shorts in either size. They are very short and tend to ride up, which is great if you’re looking for a cheeky fit. Sitting down they are downright uncomfortable, there is zero stretch and the cut into your crotch. Sizing up did not really fix this issue. The cuteness makes it worth it though, so I just don’t wear them when I know I’m going to be doing a lot of sitting. Of note, the strings in the distressing do rip in the wash, so I wash on gentle and do not dry or you end up with just a mess of strings (known from past experience). If you’re going for looks, it doesn’t get cuter than this. If comfort and the convenience of just tossing in the wash and drying is your thing, keep shopping.

LOVE these shorts. I’ve been looking forever for a pair not too long, not too short, without shredding. I’m usually a 4S in Levi’s but these, I got the 28 due to the high cotton content and no stretch. They’re a little big (I can fit a fist in the waist) but once they’re washed, should be perfect. I’m 5’ 130lbs.

Size up one size and buy the shorts! Super cute! Wore them to the Morgan Wallen concert last weekend and felt confident and comfortable! Good quality denim, love the button enclosure- be warned it is stiff to begin with and there is no stretch but the material shapes to your body. For size reference I'm normally a 27 and I purchased a 28, I'm about 5'4/158lbs athletic built.
