Great Bible to carry with you!

I love this little Bible so much! I choose this one because I wanted one to carry in my bag and the leather cover felt like a good choice to keep it from getting destroyed easily. I’ve carried it in two of my bags and it’s held up well. I was even able to carry it in my smaller Coach shoulder bag and still had room for my other things. It’s a great size to carry with you. The buffalo leather cover is so beautiful and durable. Obviously the font is going to be smaller since it’s a small Bible, but it’s still easy to read. I would definitely recommend this Bible if you’re looking for something small like this.

SMALL MIGHTY AND CAPABLE

If you’re looking for an excellent companion Bible this is the one to purchase. The leather is nice and dark color and the Bible lays flat, however the font is small but readable, I myself have a bad left eye without glasses and I’m able to read it fine. If you’re looking for an excellent bible for traveling or carrying to work, look no farther, this is perfect and it is indeed a pocket bible. There are no references or maps, however it is perfect for an EDC Bible and those devoted to reading on their lunch break. I use it every day for my yearly reading plan and it’s perfect! It’s well made, though the paper is very this it still holds up to highlighters and micron pens very well so long as you don’t let the ink bleed into the paper for too long. You can definitely preach from this Bible with practice and it’s excellent for those who do not particularly like using Bible apps. The leather is high quality with a non folded edge like high end premium Bibles, however it is designed to be used every day and its liner is glued but it’s extremely durable and like leather and will most definitely last for many, many years to come. I’ve used other concord sized bibles as an edc Bible that only lasted 11 days before splitting the liner, but this super small Bible is absolutely perfect for the money and the needs for which it was designed. When you purchase it you must know what you are to expect and this is a Bible that was designed for everyday witnessing or reading when one does not have the ability to carry a full size Bible. That said it can accommodate full time usage as a stand alone Bible and will likely last for many years to come. Over all I highly recommend it!

Truly portable and readable

I wanted a Bible I could carry with me everywhere I go. Back in 2009 I had a King James large-print Compact Bible that had a fake leather cover and the binding fell apart in less than a year. But I carried it in my back pocket and had the word of God everywhere I went. By the way, I know you can have a Bible on your phone. That's fine, but having the physical word of God in your hands cannot be matched by an app on your phone. A physical Bible does not interrupt your reading with texts and notifications! But I digress. I've been reading the ESV as my main Bible for a few years now, and when I saw this Bible I was intrigued both by the promise of buffalo leather and small compact nature. When I got it, it was perfect. It is even smaller than my previous KJV, though the print is a little smaller. I kinda wish it was in single-column format, but I'm sure that would also pose problems with size. The paper is thin but not like onion-paper thin. I haven't marked in the margins but I have used a dry highlighter on some passages and it does not bleed through. It easily fits in my back pocket and I can take it out and read it wherever I am. And being leather-bound I know that it will last a very long time. Get yourself one of these Bibles and carry it with you everywhere you go.

Great little Bible with a few issues

I bought this Bible as I do college campus ministry and needed a small Bible that I could have in my backpack at all times. I also travel quite a bit and wanted something that wouldn't take up too much precious space in my carry on/personal item. It needed to be light and compact but also needed to be durable enough to survive shifting around in the front pocket of a backpack. This Bible certainly is small and light! As far as pocket Bible goes it is in on the smaller side (it acutally fits into my pants pocket! I'd say any smaller and it wouldn't be usable. I find it decently readable and never really have a problem reading from it while preaching or teaching. I think my eyes would get strained if I attempted to read for a considerable amount of time. The quality is a mixed bag. I really love the buffalo leather. It is soft and supple and feels quality. It seems like it will hold up well also. The construction on the other hand leaves a bit to be desired. The top and bottom corners of the pages are not evenly rounded. It looks like if someone tried to round out the corners by hand. The end sheets are made of a thin piece of leather but are not glued down well to the cover and so the corners are starting to come up. I am curious how well the binding will hold up to regular use. Overall I think this Bible is worth the money and has proven to be a loyal companion that goes with me everywhere.

Great Small Bible

Handy to Have
