I bought this because I needed a replacement jacket for my long-loved AE parka in a similar style/color. Since it's still summer, I can't say yet how well it works in the cold, but it's just what I was looking for in terms of fit and style. The waist can be cinched in to give a more fitted look too. I'm 5'3", 140 lbs and I ordered up to a Large - wearing it with just a tank top it was a little roomy, but it's the perfect size for wearing a sweatshirt or such underneath! And I really like the sweater-like sleeve cuffs! I can't wait to wear it this winter.

EDIT: I got the large and the armpits are STILL tight, this design is ridiculous. nice otherwise but you CANNOT layer beneath this. Again: me, 5'4", 125 lb, cannot fit a sweatshirt under size LARGE of this (the rest of which is huge and practically reaches my knees) the reviews already say this runs small so I ordered up a size but now I'm waiting on an exchange because I need to go TWO sizes up. It's SO TINY in the shoulders and armpits; I'm 5'4"/~125lb and waiting on a large so I can hopefully wear even just a hoodie under it. The fur along the zipper is only like an inch wide, and it bells out in more of an A line shape than I expected/ would prefer but other than that it does seem really cozy and I did choose to exchange rather than return, I hope I can actually get one I can wear before the weather warms back up.

I bought this as an alternative to spending $300+ on the North Face brand and I'm glad I choose this for half the price. I love this coat. The only issue I have is that it zips on the opposite side and reduces me to a toddler trying to zip myself up. I'm right handed & not used to the actual zipper being on the right side, it's just not normal to me LOL other that it fits great and looks great. I'm 5'5 220lbs top heavy with broad shoulders and usually wear 1X or 2X. I ordered a 2X to be safe and I really could've got the 1X but I don't mind the coat being a little big and oversized. I'm comfortable either way.

I have had this coat for about two months now and I love it!. I first ordered the XL which I think is pretty true to size for me. But, with my bulkiest shirts, it was more fitted that I liked. So, I got the XXL. It is a little big, but I prefer that in a winter coat. I am 5'11 and the length is great and the sleeves aren't too short either. This coat is so warm. So warm that you get hot if you are indoors too long. I wore this in zero temperatures and felt so warm! No cold spots or any issues at all. My only issue with this coat is that the neck area. I never zip it all the way up because I don't think the neck area is that comfortable like that. Maybe it would break in, but it is kind of stiff to me. The problem is then that the zipper area will then touch under my chin on bare skin. It is really cold. I kind of bend it away form my neck and it is fine, but that is my only gripe. The zipper could be better all around. But aside from that, this is a great coat that seems like it will be very durable and last for a long time.

I live in central Maine and was worries this wouldn’t be warm enough for the winter up in the mountains. This jacket surprisingly works great, especially if you wear a light/medium sweater underneath. I love the ease of the zipper, and the fact that the fur only goes along the line of the zipper, and the inside of the hood! The parka part of the hood is removable as well, and i love the fact that I can leave the waist loose for a masculine look, or cinch it for a feminine look! The pockets are pretty deep, and I love the fact that there’s four! There’s also secondary sleeves that extend out of the initial sleeves?? Fantastic! It’s also quite durable, I’ve taken it on hiking trails through the PNW and Maine in the last few months I’ve had this. My only drawback is that you need to spot clean the jacket, but that’s easy enough to manage, and isn’t worth the removal of any stars. 100% would buy again when needed!

This is the first coat I've bought in a million years and I remember why. I must have the longest arms in the world. The sleeves on women's clothes are never long enough for me. This coat is no exception but it fits alright everywhere else. I feel like a size up would have me swimming when all I really want is an extra 2 inches on the sleeves. The hood is great and it's nice and warm with a hoodie under it. It's 10°f rn and only my hands are cold.

This is a fantastic winter jacket. I have worn this jacket in 15 degrees & snowy weather, and been warm the entire time. I actually have to take this jacket off in the car because I get way too warm wearing it. I got the size XS & am 5'1" 105lbs. The coat fits true to size, and has plenty of room to layer underneath if necessary. The coat runs slightly long on me, right above my knees, but that just helps me stay warmer.
