I was really apprehensive buying clothing that I wasn't able to try on first being as I am a big guy. I stand at 6'2 365lbs. I bought the 52 inch waist size and can comfortably say that the shorts are great. The waist line fits snug, but not uncomfortably so. The shorts go just below the knee in length, which is really nice. I have full range of motion while standing sitting bending anything aside from doing the splits which I can't do so. The shorts are very durable and the appearance of them isn't bad either. The cargo pockets are super useful and well placed. I will definitely come back. Looking for other colors in the future and recommend the shorts too. Anyone looking for a durable, quality material, and comfortable pair of shorts.

Levi's is a pretty reliable brand and known for their excellent workmanship and durability. These shorts are a steal at this price. The waist fits to size as shown. A few things to keep in mind: 1) They are NOT lightweight (they weren't advertised as such). Somewhere between a light and medium weight, so for very hot days, especially physical activity, these may not be the right choice. Otherwise the fabric is sturdy and a nice smooth texture that doesn't feel cheap against your skin. 2) The shorts are much longer than I anticipated, so be prepared to hoist them up higher above your hips (with an army belt) so that the bottom doesn't cover part of your knees. 3) The front cargo pockets come with snaps at either end, but they are almost impossible to snap shut even if you force them. Not the best design but better than a velcro swatch in the middle. Since I only put items of little value in there (bandanas, masks, etc.) it's not a big deal. The pockets are deep enough that nothing will fall out of them.

I love these shorts. It has been very hard the last couple years to find shorts that don't sit too high above my knee. These are the perfect length for me. They sit right at the middle of the knee. I am 6 ft tall and ordered a size 34. I guess the look these days are shorts above the knee, but that look is not for me. These are perfect!

Two things you should know about these Levi's cargo shorts. While they are a great fit, you should order one size smaller than you normally wear. I usually wear a size 36 however, a size 34 fits perfectly. The zipper is not up to the Levi's standard. It is both small and cheaply made. I was not expecting a zipper that you find on a winter coat, but neither was I expecting something this small and cheap.

They quit making the original cargo brand shorts that I had been wearing for years. Plus, I had lost a little weight and needed it smaller size. Ordered these. Very happy, even though they’re a little longer than I was accustomed to. They fit well and I like them.

I’ve got few colors and the shorts matched the size 34, comfortable, 100% durable cotton inside out with hidden metallic buttons on the side pockets. The zipper is made of plastic with the very small puller and by that reason I had to add a zipper pull knot to make it usable. I really wish for this brand to get back to traditional metallic quality zippers to keep up the name of Levi’s. Depending on the color, there might be light ridged pattern noticed on lighter color of the fabric, while black and grey are solid and smooth, but lighter colors are still 100% cotton. I would buy this brand again if they would get back to traditional metallic zipper. They are good for traveling, hiking, biking, recreational sports, just because they match the size, durable and comfortable.
