The media could not be loaded. This system is excellent! It's our second from this brand, replacing a much older one which serves us well. I ordered the two camera kit with case, and received one camera and no case. I requested a replacement due to missing parts, got the same thing. Amazon had me contact the seller who then sent me what was missing, making it right, so while something may be screwy in the order fulfillment, they did make it right, so good on them for that! The camera is clear, moves silently, has great features, tells you the temperature, activates by voice, has night mode or color, and you can have two on screen at a time (and adding a second camera to an existing system is super easy! My only complaint is it has a very limited downward tilt. So if you have, say, a shelf near the crib, it can't look far enough down to see into the crib. It looks down about 30 degrees. Best bet is wall mounting it directly above or next to the crib (it even comes with the hardware for that), but then safely routing wires is tricky. Overall, I still recommend it. This is technically our third baby monitor. We have tried a WiFi only model as well as a cheaper non-wifi model and they both have pros and cons. So far, I'm very happy with the quality and features of this Levana model. For starters, you get everything in this kit. You get a camera, the monitor screen, chargers (three of them, one for the display, one for the camera, and one extra for an additional camera) and a nice carrying case for all of it. There's even a spot in the carrying case for an additional camera, which I really appreciate. The setup is awesome and the first thing I noticed when I turned it on was how great the picture quality is. I don't know what the quality of our old camera is but this one is 1080 and it's a noticeably better picture with a lot more detail. The camera works great. You can reposition where it's looking by using the buttons on the display so you can point it wherever you want. It rotates down pretty far but not far enough to look down into a crib so we had to put it on a flexible stand, still, it has an impressive range of motion by itself. The IR (night vision) picture quality is also awesome. The camera automatically switches to IR mode when the light gets too low and like the color video, the black and white image is nice and clear with lots of detail. The range is pretty impressive between the camera and the monitor. I've taken it out to 1000 feet to test it and still had a good picture, sound, and could still reposition the camera. Very impressed. I did find that like our other monitors, the more walls you're trying to go through, the worse the signal strength is going to be, but it still has an awesome range in my opinion. The camera can also function as a two way intercom. You can listen to what's going on and also talk through the display and it comes out of the camera. It works great. The cameras microphone is surprisingly sensitive and picks up even quieter sounds just fine with no noticeable change in the quality. The speakers on the monitor are great and it gets plenty loud to hear it, even from another room. The battery life on the display is also really impressive. More than enough to last all night, especially if you put it in the power saving mode where the screen turns off but keeps the audio on. You can adjust the brightness as well and turn it way down if you want to have it on next to the bed without lighting up the entire room. Overall I'm really happy with this Levana Nala monitor. It's expensive, but in my opinion, I think it's a good value considering the awesome picture quality, the range, and all of the features.     • Baby Monitor- No WIFI or Bluetooth = the safest device for your baby!
My sister had a baby monitor that was working fine, however- after seeing and hearing all the stories of hackers getting infiltrated into the camera monitoring the baby- I was appalled. I decided to look and see if I could find a safer alternative. After a good amount of research, I came upon this spectacular LEVANA baby monitor. The FIRST thing that acquired my attention was the fact that this baby monitor operates WITHOUT Bluetooth, WiFi or a mobile app. With this information I decided to go ahead and obtain this and replace the other video monitoring apparatus at my sisters house. I mean the safety of my niece is paramount. Below, I will outline some of the other factors I considered, which ultimately led me to decide on this one over other similar ones on the market. *Design: Simplistic design- User friendly- HD 1080-NO Wifi, Bluetooth or App-1000Ft Secure signal- Unhackable design *Functionality: with a 22 hour battery life on a full charge-excellent night vision- best one I've seen to date on this feature *Carrying case *Hardware included *Wireless *Interface free connection- this feature alone, makes this worth it. No hackers are able to gain access to your monitor. I mean after all, the safety and protection of your little one is the most important thing. With knowing about "hackers" that is a frightful thing. I did not want my niece to even have the remote chance of being compromised in her privacy. The monitor is very simple to use- user friendly. I also found no issues of defects or damage that would otherwise lessen its value. Therefore, based on a truly positive experience- I would definitely recommend this to other consumers.
