I had bought some other stuff which was basically black duct tape and it wasn’t great so I continued my search and found this product. This stuff is awesome! It feels like leather, has a very good stick and is easy to manipulate. You can stretch it and pull it to work out any kinks. When I was done, I used my heat gun just to make sure it was going to stay stuck. You probably don’t need to do that, but I think it helped. It matches the seat so well that at a distance, you can’t even see it. You won’t be disappointed with this product.

I just taped over the rip, and it's as if it was never there. And this stuff is actually more supple than the vinyl. Plus, for 8 bucks I don't have to buy another office chair.

The color was a bit off from my car seat, however, it is now protecting my seat from tearing further! It was easy to cut to size, easy to place and so far, it’s staying in place really well! I cleaned my seat, allowed to dry, and I put the repair in place after it had cooled down outside so it had all night to adhere well! So far the performance is absolutely more than acceptable! Great product at a great price!

As things happen sometimes, a cut appeared on the car door leather. To make matters worse, a child picked it to a nice-sized hole. I knew without prompt intervention the door panel would be trashed in short order. I ordered what I thought would be a good match for the leather, it arrived, and in about the time it took me to type this, it was covered. It's been a few weeks and no edges have been peeled up and it looks amazing compared to a hole that was there. I need more in different colors!!

I purchased this to help cover a pretty big tear in my driver’s side front seat. When applied, the texture and color were a pretty descent match and it looked okay. I was hesitant in using tape because of appearance and adhesion. I was satisfied with appearance. Adhesion could only be tested with time. Unfortunately it did not take long before the tape started to become undone and “slide” from its original position. With 5 days the adhesive became goopy and the tape peeled away at the edges. I pulled it off with no problem, but it left a sticky residue on the seat which then transferred onto my hands and clothes. This is very typical of tape adhesives. I can’t fault it 100%. I did place it on a car seat with a lot of “body movements”- ha. It’s hard to properly describe your bottom sliding onto and off of a surface day in and day out and not sound a little juvenile. This plus being in a car during the summer probably did not help the adhesive either. So key take aways: 1. Looks good 2. Probably not for use on items that have heavy usage and/or have extreme temperatures.

This tape is by far, the best I have ever come across for making an inexpensive repair on a car seat! I had a seam that had failed on one side of the welt, along with the leather cracking around it on my driver’s side seat where I get in and out of my truck. My vehicle is seven years old and in otherwise excellent condition, and I found this tear extremely disheartening. I purchased this tape with very little hope of success but after a couple of months of its initial application, I have been nothing but impressed! I have found it has adhered perfectly to the leather, both over and around the welt, and has stayed put beautifully. I could have picked a better choice for color match, but that’s on me as the manufacturer offers a ton of choices. This tape is an excellent product and I am extremely pleased with the results of using it!

I ordered light gray and it is more like a light tan color on my gray truck seat. It sticks well, does the job and the texture feels like it should. It's holding a rip together that would otherwise get larger. It seems durable so far, but the color difference shows which is disappointing. Nonetheless I saved it for future use, as it seems pretty tough.
