These have lasted sooooo long. I lived in a dorm so I had to take them down and put them back up and they stuck again a second time. I just moved for a third time and they wouldn't stick without command strips but got them back up and they still work great. Only complaint is that the remote is just okay would be better if they had an app for the phone. ... show more

Nicely packaged, with the light strips wound around reels that look like old 8mm movie film reels. The strips are self-adhesive when you peel off the backing, so they stuck right to the top of the walls, running around the room. The white connector box was easy to mount in one upper corner of the room, with the two strips connected to it. The only problem was that the AC adapter comes with much too short a cable to connect from where it plugs in all the way up to a ceiling-height white junction box. Luckily, the round plug connector turned out to be a fairly standard 2.1mm x 5.5mm connector, so I ordered an AC adapter power extension cable from Amazon and when it came I had a connection that was long enough, and was able to get a white one that looked better when tacked into the corner of the room. The lights are switchable, so if you plug them in to a wall outlet that turns on when you turn on a light switch, they will turn on with a light switch and beautifully light the room. They also can be controlled with the included remote, and set for just about any color, or for fading or blinking patterns. Very cool highlight for a teenager's bedroom. Quality seems pretty good, with colors consistent along most of the lights. Once it's all set up and working, it's almost hard to believe that all of this came in such a small box. ... show more

I put it in my bed cuas I have a bunk bed. Tho I lost the plug in so need a new one. I'll buy it later. But they work well and honestly great for beds if you wanna make your room a little more colorful and bright.

pretty easy to setup and install, pretty basic and cheap. Looks fine at night but during the day it's noticeable but not too tacky. I noticed that after it was all installed 3 led lights in a spot were faulty, didn't notice with certain colors but when changed to red they would stay blue and if turned off, they still had a glow; the only way to turn off the glow would be to unplug it. The remote is cheap with a bunch of different colors that you can change to and then a few pre-set light options, you can increase or decrease the brightness a few clicks. ... show more
