Built solidly. With the first button push you get a bright white, 80 lumens light. The second button push you get a warm, 80 lumens light. The third button push you get a mixture of both bright white and warm light, which only appears a little brighter than the first two settings yet consumes twice the power. The description says this third setting is 140 lumens, but I doubt that claim. Personally, I just use the first two settings. Two of these lights set at 80 lumens are much brighter than one light set at 140 lumens, for the same amount of battery power. I love using this light around the basement. I ordered a set for the house for emergencies. If the power goes out we have a small, light weight and bright little light to use anywhere. I love the clip on the side, they can be attached just about anywhere. I got the 4-pack which had 2 construction orange and 2 blue. I think it would be better if all 4 were orange. Easier to see the next day when it's time to collect them. We put in the provided batteries (thank you!!) and turned one on and kept it on to see how long the light would stay "visible"... that was 8 hours ago. It's still on. Yes. Nice touch with the color temperature. Either surgical white or lamp shade warm. I prefer the latter, so it was great to have the option between the two. As far as durability, I threw one with full force against my living room wall. The bulb cover came off, but the light is still on. I just need to find where the cover went. Good buy. ... show more

Nice lightweight lights to use either in a tent camping or as I use them, in the cargo area of my vehicle. I have a large dog crate that blocks my vehicle interior lights. I am able to hang one of these lanterns on my tailgate and it provides ample light. I like that it has both bright light or you can use the more diffused amber lighting. I haven’t had long enough to really comment on battery life, but the lantern itself is very lightweight and does a good job providing light where needed ... show more

These little things work great, they come with batteries for each bulb (which I will use rechargeables after these run out), and are decently bright. They take AAA batteries, and the manual shows the recommended usage temperature range to be from -13° to 107° F. I just like that it's a portable light source you can hang up that lights up the surrounding area, instead of a having to use a flashlight that has more focused light which serves a different purpose. ... show more

The quality of these lights were a very pleasant surprise for the price. They have 3 brightness modes, they're sturdy and tough yet small and very convenient. Good for a variety of uses. Highly recommended!
