Great lights but extremely bright. I purchased an inexpensive LED dimmer to soften the intensity. And to note there is a momentary delay when turning the lights on. No big!

    • Good detailed description. Flush-mounted. Nice and bright.
First of all, I liked the detailed description. I was looking for a bright, flush-mounted ceiling light, to replace my flourescent tube-lights that were dying. I wanted 5000K Kelvin-"temperature" since i don't like the warm colors, since i regard them as yellow, and prefer non-yellow. 6000K ends up looking blue-white, so i didn't want that. I've had 5000K before, and it's called "daylight", and is the truest color, in my opinion. Some descriptions don't show the kelvin number. Your description showed it as flush-mounted, which was hard to believe, but it was true. hard to believe, since it claimed to be 3/4 inch thick, but it was true. So many others looked similar, but only worked if they were placed in a drop-ceiling, because they were 3/4 inch thjick for the light portion, but had a honking big fixture attached, that was about 4 inches high. great for drop-ceiling. not good for flush-mount. I liked the brightness. 4400 lumen is quite bright. it's for our 2-car garage, so i wanted it bright. i must say - i don't know how easy it was to install, since i hired an electrician to install it. I could do it myself probably, except that i have a bad shoulder, so can't raise my arms that high for longer than about a minute at a time. But the guy never complained to me about the install instructions, so i guess it was fine. ... show more

    • Don’t buy used items from Amazon.
Bought these used from Amazon. I’m guessing the reason they were returned was a noticeable delay between flipping on the switch and them producing light (perhaps a driver issue). I re-purchased a new set and will see if they are any better. They look great, are easy to mount, and produce even light. There are two additional wires (not described in the installation instructions) that are for an external dimmer that can be ignored. I’m hopeful that the new set will work as expected. ... show more

Product arrived in good condition and with everything needed to install. However when it says to connect the black wire to the black hot wire I see Two black wires and one gray wire. NO mention in the instructions about the extra wires and picture looks like only three wires present. Finally got it working by ignoring the two extra wires and hooking up the larger black wire, white wire, and ground wire. ... show more

Somewhat easy install. Simple 3 wire hook-up. Plenty of light… actually slightly brighter than the fluorescent fixture I replaced… there seems to be a dark area in the panel though… not sure what’s up with that.. hopefully it doesn’t affect the longevity… Imma take off a star for that

I can not understand why so many want a review days after receiving a product, I like to wait a month or two to make sure what I am getting is true to what they are saying. And with this product I have to give it a A+ rating, 1. easy to install, I have installed others and this one by far is the easiest one. 2. The light given off is very easy on the eyes and is bright enough for the area. 3. and after a few months it is still working, not like the other where after a month they fail to work. ... show more

Easy install, compact look. Only downside is that they don’t “flush” mount. There is about an 1/8” to 3/16” gap all the way around from ceiling to fixture. All in all it’s a very nice light for the money.
