I got the console about 6 months ago, but it wasn't until about a month and a half ago that I started playing it. I noticed that the HDMI entrance is higher than the size of the hole for it, so it keeps braking the HDMI cables that I plug in, its been three so far. Also, a lot of the times when I push the stick forward it goes backwards for like a split second, which is enough to mess with the gameplay. It doesn't do it every single time but still frequently enough. As with the buttons I get the same thing, sometimes I push the A button and it doesn't do anything until a push it a second or third time. Honestly im a bit disappointed. I payed 150 for it and its being getting me so stressed out and frustrated instead of having a good experience. ... show more

I was expecting a bad product. I have purchased an emulation console before years ago from someone else. What I got then was bad... so I was expecting this to be bad as well. It isn't! This has really impressed me! The quality of the controller board is good! There are ALOT of games. Some are spelled incorrectly, but that does not bother me at all. English isn't their mother's tongue. I love this system. I have had so much fun with it! I wanted to play it all night! I didn't want to goto work today! I wanted to stay home and play it more! My wife enjoyed it as well! We both had a blast playing old games together! Perfect gift for the retro gamer in your life! Tons of games wifi access to add more games and the manual shows you how to add more! Save your money and don't buy an expensive 1up arcade gimmick buy this instead and be thrilled! I LOVE THE SEGA STUFF! You can even hook up usb controllers to it and play from the comfort of your couch if you wanted. My wireless usb controllers even worked! I didn't expect them to! Well done Leon Arcade! You have made a great product! For whatever reaon the America Sega Classics Collection won't go past the menu screen for me but when there is 8000 games its not a big deal. Those games are in the console in other forms anyway! If your on the fence with this product and you enjoy retro gaming go ahead and buy it! I am very happy I did... Didn't work out of the box,easy fix but still I did it myself,ALOT of doubles of games I mean A LOT, mostly fighting games,buttons not marked I still haven't figured out a,b,c,d,back ,accept I'd say it's worth 75$

I'm taking one star off for two reasons. One, because the joysticks tend to be very "soft". By this I mean they don't pull to center the way the ones in original arcade games tended too. This can makes for a less than genuine feel when playing old arcade games, but with a bit of practice its possible to compensate. My other gripe is that it says it has "Gauntlet", when in fact it has "Gauntlet II". They are similar, but the sequel is much more difficult than the original, especially when playing solo. It was in effect an effort to correct for overly easy play (and thus unsatisfactory profits) on the original. The user interface is a bit odd, but it's functional and it gets the job done, albeit it takes a bit of time to get used to. ... show more

This was super fast and easy to setup. The only issue I've had is it will not connect to the game store to download more games. It consistently gives an error code. I've reset the internet multiple times and it does the same thing. Which sucks because I was hoping to download other games that are not initially included. There is multiple emulations of the same game but honestly with a list that's 8,000 games long, that is not a big deal. ... show more

I have to admit that I expected disappointment. I have been looking for a specific game called Bagman for years. The only way I could find it was online and I hate playing Retro games online. For it to be true to any original arcade games it has to have arcade controls, in my opinion. In researching this one, the reviews were pretty good, but what sold me was that it claimed to have Bagman so I closed my eyes and jumped in hoping for the best. Not only is the game there, but the build quality is very solid and the game works 100% of the time. The game plays exactly the way I expect. And No Quarters! The big plus is once I have exhausted playing this game, I have hundred or thousands more to kick around with (time permitting). I can;t say about every game you want being there, but if you are looking for an arcade feel with apparently tons of arcade games, you should be very pleased with this. ... show more

I initially bought this because I wanted to play arcade games on a tv. About 3 weeks later I discovered someone selling a golden t full size unit on the internet. It didn’t work so I ended up gutting it, cutting a slot for this and setting up launchbox. It works great but the buttons and sticks do feel a little clicky and not quite what I want. I will keep this as it is a good unit but I’m going to end up getting a full 4 player set of sticks and buttons to replace this. I’ll still use it in other TVs around the kids rooms though. ... show more
